"Some huge raves for Cluck U of Wall and some gripes... Let's start with the raves... Hands down, the best fried chicken in the area! My girlfriend and I were hankering for fried chicken and we have always been disappointed with Popeyes and even Supermarket offerings. We decided to try Cluck U for the first time and we came away extremely changed by the experience. The chicken was unbelievably spectacular. We ordered the Family 12 piece and the guy who answered the phone asked if we wanted honey on it. We agreed, and that made all the difference in the world. The chicken was fresh, hot, crunchy and wonderfully sweet thanks to the honey coating. It took a few bites from my girlfriend and I to come to instant agreement that we would have to come to this place more often. The young man at the counter was very polite and the manager, from the back, was certain to say thank you as we picked up our order. Nice touch that was appreciated. That being said, there were a few disappointments... First, the Pickup/Delivery Menu is not the same as the website menu. We could not order the 12 Piece Family Dinner online as it wasn't listed. I ended up having to call the location directly which was a bit of an inconvenience. I hope this will be something that they fix (if they are reading this review). Next, the sides were not very good. We both agreed that the mashed potatoes, Macaroni and cheese and (especially) the coleslaw was pretty subpar. The Local Smoke Restaurant down the street has much better quality sides than Cluck U. Next time we'll try the fries and salads as sides and hope that we fare better. We like the 12 piece offering but if the sides are going to continue to be this underwhelming we may have to look at something else. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
