"We were attracted to this restaurant because of the high ratings however upon arrival on a Saturday at dinner time, the parking lot was nearly empty. Which is mostly a deterrent in most cases. Due to the high rating we went in anyway. The atmosphere was very basic super close out layout as compared to opened and welcoming. The waitress and waiters were decent and checked on us regularly. The food was mediocre at best relying meanly on the accompanying sauces for flavor. We opted in for the all you can eat option which was a huge mistake because we ended up paying double the price for a single person order. We ordered two servings on the same checklist but only got one person’s order and was billed for two person. We were so disappointed and just paid and left most of the food on the table without opting to try anything else."

"I'm sorry to say, but I really didn't enjoy my experience at this restaurant. If you're considering it as an alternative to Sagano or Benihana, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The hibachi dishes were bland and lacked seasoning, and the noodles tasted like plain spaghetti. The yam sauce was basically just mayonnaise mixed with ketchup. They also forgot one of our sushi rolls, and the one we received wasn't what we ordered. Overall, it just wasn't good. While many reviews are positive, perhaps we just happened to visit on a bad night? I truly wanted to like this place, but it's hard for me to believe I'll return."

"So glad to finally have a sushi run here in South Lyon! Pricewise they are cheap in the middle of the street with nothing inconspicuously expensive or questionable. Quality was good, although too much sauce on the special roles for my taste. While miso is hard to mess very few places here do it so well. It was tasteful with a wonderful balance of salty to sweet and fresh ingredients. While sushi is rarely something where portion size is a factor, I have to say they pack their rolls! I'm looking for sword to go back!"
