"This restaurant has a somewhat unique service style. You enter, wait to be called, then place your order at the cashier before finding a table. As it was my first visit, I may have inadvertently cut in line while others were still looking at the menu. The situation felt a bit awkward, as having to place my order quickly while standing in front of the cashier and trying to scan the menu was quite strange. I ordered spring rolls, which were delicate but contained small, mushy shrimp ($7.50). My friend opted for the traditional Pad Thai (a $12.50 lunch special). The Pad Thai was a lunch-sized portion, leaving no leftovers to take home. Once we were seated, the service improved. A busboy kept our water filled and cleared our table, which was a nice touch, especially since it seems rare nowadays. However, I don't think I'll return—I prefer Thai restaurants that offer larger portions and a more appealing presentation."
