"I thought this place would be like a mom and pop restaurant, since it's small. But they had 3 sushi chefs and other cooks doing hibachi. I was also surprised it was packed on a Friday afternoon, it wasn't even 6pm yet. They do a brisk to-go order business and with all the chefs, the service is very fast! I had to dock two stars. One because it was kinda dirty inside. The tables were quickly cleared but the bar had bits of food on it. There were crumbs next to the fridge and the shelf. My menu was handed to me with a gob of something stuck to the cover. The bar also had something on the corner of it. I got something reddish smeared on my shirt when I left. Second star was docked for smoke. As some others have said, it can be smoky in there. Some are definitely a burning smell from the grill. It's not well ventilated because I came home smelling of smoke and needed to shower. As for the good, the service is fast and the sushi rice was amazing. They had this real small grain rice, it was cooked perfectly and the rolls were tight. I thought it was heavy on the rice, kind of like all-you-can-eat places do. The fish I had was fresh and my rolls were artful and tasty. I just didn't vibe with the busy busy atmosphere here. But it seems to be a local hot spot for reliable food and popular for to-go."
