"We arrived before busy hours, with less than 8 customers. There were a lot of employees more interested in talking to each other than serving guests. It took our burger 35 minutes when very few people were being served. I ordered, and paid extra for, sweet potato fries. They arrived burnt and cold. I asked for new fries and the server informed me they always look like that but she would give it a try. A few minutes later, here she comes with hot not burnt fries. Imagine that. We would not go back!"

"I know, sounds hard to believe, but truly they serve the worst pizza imaginable. Think of an apple pie, with the apple sauce replaced with a thick layer of artificial cheese. Topping will be the 4th layer. Cookie Dow, followed by a thin layer of mediocre tomato sauce, followed by a thick layer of disgusting cheese, followed by a layer of toppings.. just try a different place, this ain’t Italian pizza by no means."

"When there a while back to get their famous cold cut. By the time I got home which is 3 minutes away . Open sub and the roll was so soaked that it fell apart. I ate the lunch meat and threw the rest away. Today I tried their sausage sub. When they called me for it I actually asked them how was I suppose to eat it. The so-called sub was completely open with green peppers and onions pour on top. No way in hell could you make a sub out of it. I ate the sausage and threw the rest away. This place is NOT the Italian John's of old. Went back today because their French fries and gravy are good. An old lady who I assume was the owner who response online reviews kind and friendly but in person is nasty and 2-faced. She actually told me that I much have liked the sausage sub because she went through the trash can that there were little in there. Since I wrote the review hours later...Can you imagine how much she had to dig through to find it. Anyone who quality control is digging through the trash to see what people throw away has bigger problems then what reviews people may write."

"The fries were lacking sauce, cheese, and seasoning. I did not receive any utensils to eat my garlic fries and there were no napkins provided to clean my hands after eating with my fingers. The corn dog was tasty, but the sharp skewer posed a hazard. It would be better to use popsicle sticks for safety. Overall, the restaurant could improve in some areas. Despite this, the customer service was good."

"Stopped Saturday 6/3 for lunch. Seat yourself wasn’t very busy. Server arrived right away, friendly smiling. I got the chicken Cobb salad asked to substitute blue cheese add cheddar, no problem! Hubby got the Hermanaki bone in wings, we also tried the stuffed breadsticks. All were delicious. What I especially appreciated was a salad under $20, seems like everywhere they are getting to be over 20 which is ridiculous. Great service Delicious food Good atmosphere/vibe Also to note: live music every Friday Saturday night starting around 10 Highly recommend for. Relaxed, casual, laid back meal"

"I grew up on this pizza and been here a thousand times. We occasionally make the trip over from Delaware and yesterday we returned to get my father a pizza for his birthday and the owner who we've known for 30+ years made it for us and gave us all a free ice cream. He did this for me and my brother several times over the decades and has always been good to me and my family. "I really hate to give anyone a negative review. However this restaurant rubbed me the wrong way. We moved to the Weatgate area after having lived in Midtown, where we frequented the original La Casa regularly. The restaurants have the same name, but all of our menu favorites from the original restaurant are not available at the West location! The man who I dealt with both times we ordered pizza from here was extremely rude. We were hoping the first trip was a fluke, the second (and last) was equally disappointing. Plus, they do not accept credit cards, and don't have an ATM to get cash at! I had to drive almost 5 minutes to the nearest bank ATM. Even though we live super close to the restaurant, the perfect storm has occurred and we will not be going back."

"Just called to place a order for pick up, the guy says can you hold please, I say no problem. I'm on hold for 10 mins. Hang up and call back and the guy is ready to take my order.??? Like ok what was the hold for then. Get done ordering and he asks me over the next minute of reading my order back to me and telling my total, anything else? Or will that be all.? Are y'all just that burnt? Hire some people with some personality or some type of upbeat bright minded folks. It would sell the food a whole lot more."
