"To start, I had the Jia Jiang Mian noodles, which come with a black soybean sauce and small pieces of pork (there's also a vegetarian option available). The sauce is lighter and more watery than what I've experienced elsewhere, but it clings wonderfully to the incredibly springy, al dente noodles. The sweet onions add a nice touch, being both tender and flavorful. This dish was a refreshing change that completely satisfied my craving, especially when paired with their Sweet and Sour Pork, which was delightfully crispy and served in generous portions. The sweet and sour sauce was perfectly balanced—not too overpowering and not too mild. It featured the usual mix of green peppers, onions, and pineapple.
Next, we tried the Jjamppong, a spicy seafood noodle soup. I went for a milder version, but I can confidently say... you should definitely order it! The seafood flavor is incredibly rich, with a smoky finish and beautifully seasoned. It seems the ingredients were stir-fried in the wok before the soup was added, creating a delightful experience for the palate.
I also really enjoyed their homemade kimchi and the complimentary hot tea. The prices are reasonable for the area, and I’m eager to return to try more dishes. P.S. They offer to split the noodle order for easy sharing, which is a nice touch!"
