"I ordered my food at 5 o’clock and it said it was gonna be ready at 6 o’clock, I show up at 6, it’s packed, reminder it’s Christmas Day, so I walk in and people are standing around the front counter and I can tell they’re being absolutely horrendous towards the staff, complaining they’ve been waiting for 1 hour and 40 minutes, JUST A REMINDER ITS CHRISTMAS DAY, so around 15 minutes of waiting I couldn’t stand how people were talking to the staff, its ridiculous how these employees were working on Christmas Day when most restaurants aren’t, and these people were treating them like it was their fault their food wasn’t ready, in the 15 minutes I was sitting in there I think they got around 26 calls on top of trying to take care of let’s say 20 or something people standing in the restaurant, so I asked the guy at the front counter the progress on the order and he said they hadn’t even started yet so he said he’d call me when it was ready so an hour passes and he calls just like he said that my food was ready, and the crazy part is, the entire time this one staff member was being berated by about 5 people at one time he wasn’t the bit rude, he kept a polite tone, apologized, and estimated their wait time, these employees were working so hard for all these people and they barely got any respect, if you want an amazing experience and customer service not to mention the amazing food, come here, it’s better then any fast food restaurant you could ever go too"

"My favorite place to eat by far. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is well prepared and full of flavor. When I went in to pick up my order with my recently broken arm in a sling, Amy insisted on carrying my order back to the car for me. I've had 3 friends come visit from different states, and I always make sure to get Asia Café for them at least once. All three have said it was the best Chinese food they ever tasted. I cannot recommend the Asia Café on Wisteria enough."

"amazing food. honestly i think its the best in the area! the ONLY problem i have is with one delivery guy. idk his name but hes clearly an older white man maybe in his mid 50s. he was extremely rude when he came to the door. i understand its very busy on friday, but that was really no excuse for the rude commentary. i couldnt tip much and i felt terrible enough as it is. so when i hand him the money he says in monotone, Wow! thanks for that i guess! then he storms away. I ended up calling the store and told them what had happened and the person who answered did apologize but i highly doubt theyll even reprimand him because hes been a delivery driver for them awhile. hes been rude to us before as well. one incident with my partner happened exactly two months ago. the same delivery guy was carrying a tazer on his hip..... he went to grab it and ended up tazing himself. im not sure if he meant to taze my partner, but thats extremely dangerous to carry around as a deliver driver! he still had the same tazer on his hip today. he just didnt touch it this time. needless to say, i wont be ordering from here anymore. i love the food, but im sorry; im not gonna risk my safty by possibly being tazed or risk my mental well being by being insulted for not tipping alot for $20.15 order. they need to get rid of him."

"After sampling all of the Chinese places in the general vicinity, this one is the best by far. It?s what you expect from a solid nyc Chinese take out place-no crazy frills-but the food is actually good. You can tell the family that runs it cares; the foodis fresh, they try their best to accommodate requests, and the kid who works the front will probably be mayor one day."

"Five stars but deserves 10. Exceptional. Hot, fresh, perfection. I got the mushroom chicken, hubby got the Shanghai special and my daughter got the pork ribs with noodles. This is probably the best Chinese takeout meal I've ever had. The mushroom chicken was loaded with thick cut mushrooms and plenty of chicken. There were tons of rough chopped al dente celery and carrots and the fried rice was so flavorful and fluffy. The sauce on this dish is mildly sweet without overpowering the dish. Hot and so comforting on a cold winter night. I tasted my daughter's pork ribs and they were the real deal. Cut in pieces about an inch wide, they tasted like they had been smoked and had a delicate Chinese-like BBQ sauce. I didn't taste my husband's but he loved it. The egg rolls looked and tasted homemade. These folks cook from the heart and you can taste it in their food. I can't say enough good things about this meal. Thank you, East China, for going above and beyond by providing a high-quality, flavorful, truly exceptional takeout dinner. Don't balk at the price. It's worth every penny."

"I did not know that the difference between chow mien and lo mien initially, but they will explain to me later that many people mix this, so thanks to goodness they explain to me because I wanted to nudge the lo but I order chow mien first, so now finally I differentiated it. the eating was delicious, I picked it up myself to badly deliver it to my address because it took over 5 miles, except that eating only 20 minutes for me to pick up, so it is relatiw faster than other restaurants I order. panda express takes almost twice as long as this restaurant, so I know definitiw where I can get my Chinese food in the future."

"Impulsively, I purchased $57.51 worth of random items from this restaurant. The items consisted of General Tso’s Chicken (extra spicy), Sesame Chicken, Chicken Wings, Kung Pao Chicken (extra spicy), Ma Po Tofu (extra spicy) and Sweet and Sour Chicken. The only negative thing that I could say is that the food wasn’t the least bit spicy, but I was not disappointed with the flavor. The food had a good taste and didn’t need any of the sauces that it came with. Not to mention, neither the wings or the egg rolls were greasy. They even gave a free item. Overall, this is a restaurant that I recommend and will return to. My actual rating is 4.5."

"I would recommend avoiding this restaurant. Honestly, I should have just walked back out the door. The establishment is in disrepair, and the old dining area is closed off and appears to have been abandoned for years. Nevertheless, I set aside my concerns and picked up my to-go order. Unfortunately, the Bourbon Chicken was extremely unappetizing—dry and completely lacking in flavor, just like the fried rice. I would have preferred to spend $20 on Chinese food from the mall food court instead. The egg rolls were merely filled with cabbage; I didn't notice any meat at all. It was such a massive disappointment. I really think the health department should inspect this place, as it doesn't seem to meet health code standards."
