Retailers faced challenges as shopping moved online; Crazy Dough's closed without a successor, and the unfinished renovations have remained stagnant for years, stuck in a time that feels irretrievable. I can't remember when Ben & Jerry's first opened at The Garage, but I do recall a time before it was there. Now, an empty space marks where it once flourished, with its branding still visible, while a new Ben & Jerry's stands across the street—a glimpse of what lies ahead. The Starbucks has transformed into a fantastic Vietnamese takeout, showing that not all changes are negative. However, The Garage will soon close its doors for good. Some will remember it as a parking garage that bloomed into a bustling mall for three decades, while others will only think of its decline over the past ten years. In time, it too will fade from collective memory."
