"I had a disappointing experience on New Year's Eve at a restaurant I usually love and have praised in the past. While I’m willing to pay a premium for a great meal and service, the pre-fixe New Year's dinner fell far short of expectations. The food quality was extremely poor, and the menu options were very limited, which made it embarrassing to bring my family and friends. The live music was enjoyable but played at an uncomfortably loud volume. Although the decorations were nice and I understand there would be a markup for the event, the overall price was outrageous given the subpar food. I typically highly recommend this place when there's an open menu, but sadly, I cannot do the same for this event."
