"It has taken me forever to come here! My excuse: I don't work downtown. That seems to be the main clientele here. They are only open for lunch. The menu is pretty simple. Mostly standard subs with some Anchoragian flourishes here and there. (reindeer sausage, Asian-inspired stuff I got a submarine sandwich classic: roast beef. I was feeling like a big boy, so I decided to take all 12 inches! It came out hot. I was surprised. I didn't specify any toasting (nor did I know it was an option? As I munched on this girthy sandwich I noticed the warmth absorbing from the enormous trunk of this bread torpedo into my hands was a result of the BREAD being just that FRESH! Fresh from the oven! Impressive! The ingredients were pretty standard, but the taste was better than the sum of its parts! What really hurts though, is the price. This carby shaft of deliciousness set me back $16.50. That's pretty rough for a sandwich."
