"I'll break it down by Food, Service, and Atmosphere:
**Food**: The fiery wings were excellent! The spices were surprisingly good without being overwhelmingly hot, and the chicken was well-prepared.
**Service**: The staff member who served me had a bit of a communication barrier, making it hard to tell the difference between fries and sides. It was a bit of an awkward back-and-forth, but we eventually sorted it out. He seemed frustrated that I was disappointed my combo didn’t come with two fries instead of mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. I remained polite since I work in the service industry too. Eventually, a coworker stepped in to assist. Also, don’t expect to get extra jelly; they limit it to two per customer, which I learned while waiting for my food.
**Atmosphere**: An unusual situation arose when a woman came in begging for food but was really asking for money. Someone gave her a dollar and escorted her out, which was good to see, but it wasn’t the staff who did it. Then there was a somewhat unsettling man who kept swaying around and staring; he nearly bumped into me three times! His intense presence made me uneasy, although I didn’t engage with him. Once he got his food, he sat quietly, but as my partner and I were leaving, he jumped up to watch us exit. It was a mixed crowd; a few groups of younger immigrant men came in, but everyone was respectful. It reminded me of Queens, with groups of Haitians (which makes sense for the area), some construction workers who appeared to be Sikh, and a group of Hispanics. Usually, groups of young men at night can be bothersome, and anyone older would probably agree—it's just a lot of noise and activity. However, they weren’t disrespectful, so don’t expect a romantic dinner here!"
