"The chicken at this place is absolutely unparalleled. Everyone within a ten-mile radius knows about this chicken spot. When you place an order, you not only get a generous portion of delicious chicken, but also potatoes or other sides, all at a reasonable price. Because the chicken is so exceptional and such a great value, if you're in the mood for fried chicken, be sure to order early—VERY EARLY. There have been instances where the restaurant has received so many orders that they had to stop cooking for the night. I’m not sure if they run out of chicken or just need a break from cooking over the hot fryer, but if that happens, try to be patient. The owner and cook can get a bit grumpy, but trust me, the chicken is worth it. Chicken Box is truly unmatched in the area; it has become a local icon, almost like a landmark. Their fried chicken, which they refer to as "broasted" chicken, surpasses anything offered by chain restaurants I’ve ever visited. Parking is available, but keep in mind that Chicken Box is quite small—essentially a little box. Dining in is very limited; most customers opt to take their delicious chicken to go."
