"My wife and I spent a recent weekend renting a cabin on Stone Mtn and didn't want to cook in the evenings. All three nights we ate at the wonderful Southern on Main. The staff was super nice and accommodating with our dog Slim Shady but the real treat was the food. OMG! Ya'll the fried chicken will make you wanna smack your mama, the collards are out of this world. The pasta with chicken is perfect after a long hike on the mountain. Don't forget their shrimp and grits too! The cooks know what they are doing...trust me! I cannot wait to get back to Elkin for that fried chicken!
