"I have always loved this restaurant, but the exceptional customer service inspired me to write a review. We placed an online order the night before and received an email confirmation, with the payment taken from my debit card. However, when I arrived, there was no record of the order and it was not ready. Michael stepped in and took care of us, quickly preparing our wings and even offering us drinks while we waited. It's not always about being perfect every time, but how the staff reacts to mistakes that truly matters!"

"So I visited today trying to redeem the yellow card that will give you a free meal after you purchased 9 meals! And the manager states that the owner is not excepting this card anymore. Need I remind you when he signed on #7, 8 he didn't say anything about him not taking this card anymore. The foolery with these businesses that you try to support, and they let you down. The owner should have excepted my card, and then tell me he will no longer take them. Simple!"

"I ordered a 12 piece, when I got home I let them know the wings were fried to hard and three was missing. I knew the container felt light but I had my kids in the car and was trying to get home I did not count. A little girl that was on the inside just said ok and nothing else and we disconnected the call, I feel like customer service is needed more and give people what they pay for exactly."

"Was in the mood for some seafood, I live in Bayonne so decided to try this place. My girl and I, decided to check it out and eat there. Seafood is best fresh, so that’s what we did. First thing we noticed, the gentleman helping us seemed like the owner) made sure the table to was not only clean, but sanitized. This isn’t your average restaurant, it’s a quaint spot only two tables available. More of a takeout vibe.He was very kind and accommodating. We ordered the fish and chips and some fried shrimp! The fish and chips were fresh and good. It was whiting, I would have preferred cod fish, but, it was still good!!! The shrimp were on the salty side but AMAZING. We enjoyed it so much we already made plans to go back again within the month!!"

"This is my second time to eat Cave Kitchen food, and, both times, the food and the taste were above board. Simply well seasoned and delicious. I had the jumbo shrimp bowl initially and the owner/chef threw in some empanadas (for free) which I didn't know until I got home. That was in October. November, I, am back. I have a hankering for whiting (unfortunately, they were out of it). Garlic chicken tenders it is then. The food as usual was pretty well seasoned. Cooked fast and was even delivered right to my car. Thank you. The food truck is parked right next to the Dunellen train station (3mi. from me). You certainly won't miss the colorful paint job of the truck. The young gentleman at the counter was very friendly and accommodating (so was the gentleman the first time I was there). Nice group of people."
