"We each started with a slice, which arrived quickly and hot—just how it should be. After our first bites, we exchanged approving nods. Unlike many other pizza places in Philadelphia and its suburbs that tend to overdo the cheese, leading to it sliding off with a single bite, that isn’t the case at Bruno's! Another highlight is the pizza sauce—it’s robust, sweet, and hints at herbs and spices, just as good pizza sauce should be. Overall, the pizza strikes the perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and a crust that’s both crispy and chewy—truly pizza perfection. Next, we tried their cheesesteak with American cheese and onions. They use fresh rolls that are soft yet remarkably hold all the meat and cheese together, making for a fantastic cheesesteak. What sets Bruno's cheesesteak apart is that they season their meat, offering a flavor profile that’s much richer than the typical, dry meat and cheese you find at many other places. The combination of the seasoned meat, onions, and cheese in that soft roll makes this one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had in Philadelphia. I’ve been to all the popular spots: Steve's Prince of Steaks, Geno's, Pat's, Jim's on South St., and Dalessandro's Steaks, and I can confidently say you need to try a cheesesteak from Bruno's to understand what I mean. To finish our meal, we ordered chicken wings. They are breaded and fried in the style that many of us Philadelphians grew up enjoying from local seafood places and pizzerias. The wings were cooked perfectly, and that first bite into the crispy breading had me hooked. I read some reviews claiming the chicken was undercooked, but I would have to disagree. It’s possible for properly cooked chicken to look red or even bleed at the thigh bone due to pigments from the bone marrow seeping through the thin bones of these young birds, causing a slight tint. I recommend enjoying a slice while waiting for your pizza to be ready. If you’re in the area, this is the place to visit! Pro tip: reheat your pizza on the stove to regain that fresh-from-the-oven taste and texture. Avoid microwaving your leftovers—don’t be an amateur!"

"I've been ordering from Tasty Pizza for close to 15 years. Occasional minor issues are understandable, but it seems like over the past year, I more often receive my food late or in poor condition (box held vertically before delivery and pizza is eithercrushed or toppings have slid off). It's become an exception to receive my order on time and in good condition. I know thereare staffing issues, however, it's unacceptable to me that these issues are not made clear up front by setting realisticexpectations. If delivery time is anticipated to be more than 45 minutes, please just tell the customer. Last night was thefinal straw... I will not order from this restaurant again: Placed an order at 8:48pm with a 45m indicated delivery time. Contacted the restaurant at 10:19pm and was told it was out for delivery (I live <10m from the location). Contacted therestaurant again at 10:38pm and asked to cancel the order as the food was over an hour past the indicated delivery time and 20mafter my last contact with the restaurant. Was told a refund may take several days. The individual I spoke with did not offerany apology, was disengaged, and did not sound like there were any concerns with my experience. At 10:48pm, I received a callfrom the delivery driver indicating he had arrived I advised him I cancelled my order 10m earlier because it was so late andthe driver seemed surprised. Not sure if management has changed recently, but I'm disappointed that my favorite pizza joint nolonger seems to want our business."

"Okay, LET 'S GET INTO IT! So I 've tried this spot several times via DoorDash. My first order was because I had been craving some wings and after getting burnt by Hooters. I was feeling adventurous willing to give a random spot a try to get my fix. I cameacross Chicmac. After vetting them via Google, I took the plunge. They passed the test and no joke, I literally ordered fromthem the next three days in a row because the hospital food was TRASH! WHAT I 'VE ORDERED: Large noodles: their noodle plainwith the sauce is the bomb!!! Wings: I 've tried the lemon pepper wings, Honey Garlic, Garlic pepper, Korean Fried Wings honeyGochujang. The Lemon pepper and the Koren Fried Wings honey Gochujang are my fav. However, the Korean Wings are bready andfatty and seem to be mondo wings, lol. I also appreciate that I haven 't found an accessive amount of hair on my chicken I HATEhairy chicken!!! P.S. The hot wings with dry rub (I.e Lemon pepper, garlic pepper, etc. are not heavy with seasoning, so youmight have to ask for extra if you want that banging flavorful coating, with a little bite. The KBBQ Bowl 6 wings DrinkCombo: I 've gotten this several times in different ways, KBBQ chicken and fried rice, Shrimp, and noodles. I love the Kimchithat they add to the bowls! In general so much flavor. THE GOOD: I love the portion sizes. They give you a great amount offood for the price I always have leftovers. Fresh. The food I 've gotten has always been fresh and serving temperature. THEBAD: one order out of like a million I was cheated on my shrimp, it comes with 6, they gave me 4. only other issue was onetime the wings, weren 't winging like normal. They were not bad but they weren 't bussin like normal. However, both of theseissues seemed to be one off 's and this place is pretty consistent. THE DISCLAIMER: I also have not been to this establishmentyet, but plan on pulling up soon, to catch the real vibes and atmosphere at the location. I 'll be sure to"

"My cousin C.B. invited me to lunch to which I gracefully accepted. She asked if I ever heard of a Soul Food Chess. I said no. She said you'll like it. C.B's a food connoisseur. We're so alike because she does NOT play games when it comes to food! So I trust her. When we arrived first thing that hit me before we even opened the door was the tantalizing smell of food!! It automatically whet my appetite. Upon entering this establishment we were greeted by the owner, who was a friendly gentleman. I asked him how was the collards prepared he said they didn't use any meat to make them. I liked that!C.B. knew what she wanted immediately ordered smothered Turkey Wings, (2 sides: Mac Cheese, Potato Salad, (2 Waters. I ordered Oxtails, (2 sides: cabbage, collards, (1 Water.C.B. I added Cornbread to the order afterward. It didn't take long to receive our orders. I said a prayer thanked God for our meal. When I opened the container I was stunned food portions were very generous! I also had multiple meaty pieces of large sized Oxtails with next to NO FAT! I was absolutely flabbergasted! (If you know.. You KNOW!! C.B. I shared samples of food with each other, then we dug in. I really enjoyed my meal, it was well seasoned. The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, REALLY DELICIOUS!! We both couldn't eat all of our food in one sitting. Mine served me (2 more times! I HIGHLY recommend this place.Vegetarian options: The flesh free collards were fantastic!"
