"PositivesThey understood my tea order and it was great. Yes its a bit of a pain, but it allows me to have a drink that isn't to sweet. 3/4 unsweet 1/4 sweet.Place was cleanThe chicken flautas were good. The ConsThey charged the chicken flautas at dinner vs brunch prices even though they provided brunch menus.I had the Don something brunch dish. I'm pretty sure I won't get food poisoning as the place was clean, but oh my gawd, I had to sit on my hands so I wouldn't sound like a Karen. I reached Gordon Ramsay level of mad at the state of this dish.Potatoes were undercooked.I ordered over easy eggs. You put them on a grill maybe a minute, take the flat spatula flip them and let them sit maybe 10-20 seconds and plate. I got Sunny side up eggs that somehow were Hard. The sausage links were cooked so long they were dry (I enjoy crispy sausages, but way overcooked)The apple pie pancakes with secret stuff (the secret is apples with apple pie seasoning and btw you can make it much better. Cut em up, a little bit of brown sugar, and apple pie spices and let them sit in the walk-in cooler. The juices from the apples comes out, and it won't be dry. Cook them in a little salted butter and put on TOP of the pancakes.)The pancakes were rubbery and I couldn't cut with a fork, I had to use a knife. If I didn't think the cook would spit in my food I'd have sent it back. I wanted to go into the kitchen and let my inner I'm-disappointed-in-you mother out and make the cook do a better meal, but A. Osha and Health violations as I'm wearing sandals, and I'm sure they wouldn't have let me near a wooden spoon with the amount of rage I was feeling. (Gordon Ramsay Mad)You don't send out this dish ever. I've waitressed and i've worked grill and prep. I grade it a D- but only because I was so hungry I was able to choke some down."

"A local business and a family favorite, you can never beat the feeling of community like Los Potros. I went with my partner’s family on a Saturday night, and there was just enough space to seat everybody. I was told that this was their all-time favorite restaurant, compared to the other two Mexican taquerias (Jorge’s and La Mexicana), so I had to experience it for myself. We began our meal with a refreshing glass of horchata. The quality was impeccable, capturing the perfect balance of sweetness and spice — it wasn’t too sweet neither was it too watered down. It tasted really creamy and rich, and the cinnamon-infused flavor were a testament to the care and traditional methods likely were used. It was the ideal accompaniment, setting a delightful foundation for the rest of our culinary journey. The camarón a la plancha, which was my main dish, was presented with artistic flair, exemplifying sufficient plating that was both appetizing and aesthetically pleasing. Each seafood element was grilled to perfection, offering a delightful medley of textures and flavors that danced on our palates. The slight char from the grill enhanced the natural sweetness of the shrimp honestly, making each bite a flavor-packed experience. A key highlight of our meal was the tortillas—both corn and flour. The tenderness of the tortillas was noteworthy, likely crafted in-house with attention to authenticity and freshness. The corn tortillas were soft and subtly sweet, complementing the savory dishes perfectly, while the flour tortillas were equally tender, providing a light and pliable option to accompany the meal. The cleanliness of the restaurant was impeccable, reflecting a high standard of care and consideration for their patrons. Each table was spotless, and the ambience was calming and inviting. This attention to detail extended beyond the immediate dining area, imbuing a sense of safety and comfort that underpinned our entire experience. Overall, not only did we enjoy a delicious meal, but the environment and service collectively ensured that our visit was memorable. It was evident that this establishment takes pride in offering not just good food, but a comprehensive dining experience for everyone."
