"A great place to get Chinese food in North County. The cuisine hits a good medium between westernized and authentic Chinese food without being too exciting or too expensive. The wait staff is incredibly friendly, and my wife and I love to chat with them when we go eat there. The ambiance is very cozy, with nice lighting and a mix of Chinese instrumental music, and covers of western songs on piano or guzheng. The egg drop soup and the imperial soup are both delicious 4 stars for the food because while it is absolutely delicious, I do wish more of the dishes included meat and veggies together, instead of one or the other. I often get the honey walnut shrimp because it comes with broccoli and the other dish that I would love to get, the crispy pungent beef, doesn't come with any veggies. I also recommend the shrimp in lobster sauce, though it might be a little too rich flavored for some."

"One of the best restaurants on Metropolitan Avenue! It’s a cozy spot, so it might not be the best choice for large groups, but there is seating available with a nice view of the avenue. Unlike many other places, they have long opening hours, which is a big plus. There are a couple of drawbacks: they don’t have a restroom, and they only accept cash. However, the service is efficient and polite, and the food is great—especially considering the generous portions and affordable prices. While the decor may not be fancy, the restaurant is well-maintained and has an A rating for cleanliness. Overall, this is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood."

"Look let’s call it what it is fast, cheap food and no it’s not authentic Chinese food but it’s good the best you’re going to fine in this neighborhood. And they’re very good at their business I placed a order today got it and they forgot the drinks and I know that’s not nothing to really talk about overwhelmingly but. I called and told them and within 20 minutes my drinks were delivered to me now that’s good smart business I will continue to buy from them"

"The egg rolls at this restaurant are delicious. They are fried in high heat oil, which prevents them from being greasy, while the wrapper is light and crispy. The General Tso's meat is tasty, though a bit too sweet for some tastes. There is a good amount of sauce on the dish. The rice is flavorful, but slightly undercooked, giving it a slightly crunchy texture. The dim sum dish had mostly pork fat instead of pigeon meat, and the broccoli was a bit overcooked. Overall, the food was good, but could use some improvements."

"I have been eating here for around 6 months. However, my mom and niece have been eating here for quite a while. Their food has always been really good and the service has been excellent. I can't really say anything about the atmosphere because I call my order in, and it's ready to pick up when I arrive, so I have never eaten there or been there any longer than maybe 2 minutes. I've never gotten my order wrong or anything missing. Everyone who has checked me out has been very friendly also. The only thing that I can complain about would be their chicken chow main. It would be absolutely perfect if they put more snow peas in it, less celery, and smaller pieces of onions, more crunchy noodles, and no rice. However, the Chow Mein is absolutely delicious now. I just order extra crispy noodles and no rice, although they always give me the rice anyway. I would definitely tell anyone who wants to order good Chinese food that Great Wall is one of the best in Wayne County."

"I don't understand how anyone could really leave this place. It's my favorite Chinese place I've ever eaten. It's fast and simple and cheap like takeout, but with the quality that far exceeds each take out Chinese place I've ever had. The woman who answers the phone is rude, must be crazy because I order from here regularly and they are always not only able to draw my address, but are nothing but nice and helpful. There are many Chinese places here, but I will not give one of them my business because I would only be disappointed in comparison. Menu wise their vaporized posters are amazing. Shrimps and baked pig beans are also great. Pretty much every chicken dish. I never had anything I don't love."
