"This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I had heard wonderful things about it. Unfortunately, we had one person in our party who doesn't eat seafood, and there were no appetizers available that didn't contain seafood. Additionally, the Oscar-style steak we ordered had crab shell in it, and our waitress never came back to check on us. We also ordered drinks, but they only arrived after we were ready to leave."

"We stayed at the Hotel Drover and had a fantastic experience celebrating a birthday. 97 West offered a wonderful evening for my wife, our guests, and me. The service was excellent, with a friendly and customer-oriented staff. The food was amazing, and it was our first time trying antelope. The atmosphere was fun and energetic. I highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant."

"Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better cooks with more than one style of cooking who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. The burned cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"This is not the Shula's you remember. Servers are all new and the menu is more of a sports bar as opposed to upscale steakhouse menu, including things like Chicken Wings and a pimento cheese jar. The menu is very limited and it appears that the quality of today's offerings is not as it used to be. This also shows up in the prices which are much less than their previous menu The wait staff is all new. We miss Gary and Neil. Previously we would have been offered some sour dough bread, but this time we were not and assumed it was no longer available. A different server offered it to another table near us Onto the food: The appetizer crab cake was okay, but the remoulade was just dumped over the top, not on the side as it used to be. The chicken was dry and not very flavorful even with the sauce heavily poured over the top. The Filet Mignon was cooked properly and was tender. The spinach and kale side was sort of grainy and their hand cut french fries are not the steak fries of past. I would have preferred grilled or steamed asparagus, not the poached lemony kind they served The cheesecake was sort of tasteless We likely won't be going back until their menu is restored. I hope that is soon"

"First let me start by saying I have been to The Aviary numerous times. I have always had great service and food. With that being said…. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our reservation at 7:30 we had to wait about 20 minutes which is totally understandable being a Saturday night. We had drinks at the bar while we waited and I waited to pay the bill while my wife and her sister were taken to the table. When I got the table it was about 7:50. Our server did not come back to the table until 8:15. We ordered our appetizers and dinner at the same time which we never do. It’s a good thing we did. We got our appetizer (calamari) right away which was very good. Our food did not come out until around 8:45. We finished our meals and I had to find our server for our check while I was on my way to the restroom. We received the check at roughly 9:20. This was the only time our server was quick to come back to our table. I know some will say that this is no big deal, but when you see people come in after you and get quick service and eat and leave before you there is a real problem. I will not let this persuade me from not going again, but the management should be aware and hopefully keep a better eye on all of their patrons."

"The overall experience was ok. The hostess was not very friendly but once we passed that phase it was all good. She seemed upset because we asked for a table farther away from the bar because it was quite noisy. Our waiter, Jake, was excellent and the food was fantastic!"
