"Johnnie's is a beloved establishment in Oklahoma that garners recognition across the country, and it's easy to see why! The food is absolutely amazing! I've been a loyal customer for years, and my go-to order has remained the same: the Theta cheeseburger with a small side of onion rings and a strawberry shake. Their onion rings are simply the best I've ever tasted! If you're a vegetarian like I am, you don't need to worry! They offer excellent veggie patty options. Plus, at this location, you can take a short stroll next door to "The Lounge" and enjoy live music while you dine three nights a week! They also have a back room available for reservation, perfect for large group gatherings. I can't wait to visit again soon! Thank you for all the years of wonderful service! For vegetarians: you can request any burger with a vegetarian patty, and there are also some fantastic salad choices!"

"The staff was very friendly, providing excellent customer service. However, I have to say that the food was quite disappointing. I tried a number of dishes and spent $45, and I'm usually pretty fair in my assessments. The food was not up to par and left a lot to be desired. It's like it was only fit for Halloween—just a nightmare! The sweet potato dish was inedible, the spaghetti was a mess, the ribs were subpar, and the potato salad tasted off. The peach cobbler had issues as well, and the dressing was reminiscent of something you’d serve at a zombie-themed birthday party. Honestly, it felt like I was served some unfortunate leftover dishes. On the bright side, my soda was good, and the pigs in a blanket were decent too. This place has a lot of potential but definitely needs significant improvements."

"The first thing I noticed when I walked in was all the decorations. The decor with the music playing made it a very pleasant experience. Their menu had a lot to offer, all of which sounded good. I went with the BBQ plate and the gyoza, which was enough food for two people and only about $25. Not to mention the food came out very quickly. Would recommend to anyone somewhat close to Brentwood."

"The pork bulgogi was burnt —almost every single piece! Of the parts that were more edible, they were lightly charred and nicely flavored. The mixed bulgogi chicken was not good —it was overcooked and dry! My dining companion and I agreed that my pork bulgogi was so charred that it was burnt and not edible. The owner came over and stated that it is supposed to be like that. We understood the char from the sweet and spicy nature of the dish but this was over cooked! She did nothing to fix it nor to remove the extra meat cost from the charge. The salad was over doused in dressing. Even after removing half of the salad dressing, there was too much. It was ordinary iceberg with tomatoes, red cabbage and shreds of carrot with two slices of cucumber. The best thing was the fried rice. The soup was nice, bland but decent. The beef part of the mixed bulgogi was good. The Oriental fries were interesting but not that good— would not order those again. The dumplings were ok, nothing special. The ice water was very refreshing. The bulgogi meal, because of how poorly it was executed, was overpriced. I lived in Korea for three years, enjoyed authentic bulgogi dishes on a weekly basis, and I would not recommend stopping by to eat at Kitok’s. It was recommended to me and did not meet any of the expectations in the least. If I had to come back, I might try the burgers and regular fries."
