"My wife and I stayed here on a Saturday evening as we were meeting friends in town for a basketball game at VMI. The staff at this inn are very nice and helpful. As a guest, you have a dedicated parking spot which is nice as this inn is located on Main street and you can walk to many restaurants, bars, and shops. Our room was quite nice. The only draw back is that this place is right on Main street across from a few W&L frats...so on this Saturday night you could hear noise from the street into the room... but not really bad. I would like to go back here and eat dinner in the restaurant at some point. My only negative- the bar in the hotel has beer on draft. However, apparently, it was a wine draft previously and no adjustments were made on carbonation. The beer foamed so badly that it was flat by the time the glass was full. This was true on the two different beers we tried. We switched to wine.. which was fine. In my opinion, they need to stop selling that beer until that is resolved."
