"I can see why this place may be popular among students as it's affordable and quick, but don't come here if you are looking for a welcoming environment and authentic Japanese meal. I walked in on a slow afternoon where no one was there besides the owners. They barely looked up or greeted me, and acted cold to me when I asked if I could just get my meal to go and eat it at the table outside--again, no one was sitting there or inside. I work nearby so I didn't want to dine in as I was on a timed meal break. I asked for a cup of water, and the lady almost refused because I'm ordering to go... it's just water, ma'am... Given the questionable customer service, I think it's safe to assume the owners are not Japanese... and i say this as a Japanese person who has worked in many Japanese restaurants. Regarding the food itself, it's affordable and quick, but it doesn't surprise me that all of the people on here raving about the quality of the ramen are not Asian lol... but if you don't care for authenticity and just need a quick bite, this place is totally convenient."
