"I ordered an 8-piece dark meat for $13, along with 6 biscuits for $5. A mixed 8-piece is $17, and all white meat is $18—but they were sold out by about 12:30 PM. The chicken is delicious, crispy, and quite juicy, though it’s a bit salty. Now, about the biscuits: they are not your typical big, fluffy buttermilk biscuits you expect at a chicken joint. Instead, they resemble homemade English biscuits, or cookies, measuring about 2.5 inches across, less than an inch high, and crunchy—yes, crunchy. They’re actually blueberry-flavored. While they aren't awful if you consider them for what they are, they are far from what I wanted and expected.
I didn’t try any of the other sides, like the red beans and rice, or the enticing-looking fish, but I plan to come back for those. Overall, the chicken is quite good—not quite up to the level of Popeye's but also not as heavily battered. The biscuits are peculiar, and the staff seems uncertain about the operating hours. If they would post their hours and rework or rename those crunchy pucks, I would have given them 4 stars. Depending on the quality of the other sides, I might reconsider my rating in the future. "
