"I want to start by saying I ordered from Zanzibar yesterday. My order was supposed to include salmon croquettes, rice, and mac and cheese, but unfortunately, the UberEats driver mistakenly delivered someone else’s food from Sam Sylk’s instead. What I received was two dark meat chicken dinners with a side of French fries—and it was a disaster. The fries were undercooked, undersalted, and had no flavor whatsoever. They were so bad that there wasn’t even the soft, fluffy potato texture you’d expect on the inside. The chicken smelled of old, rancid grease as soon as I opened the bag. The skin was soaked in oil, and the meat itself was unbearably salty—even after peeling the skin off. It was completely inedible. This experience was beyond disappointing. One star, and I’ll think twice before using this service again."

"Middle aged black women with no customer service skills was very rude and ignorant on 06/17th @2:50 pm. I Attempted to call in my order but was told I had to give my card number over the phone(which banks do not recommend for fraud purposes) Arrived to the store a short time later and was told a 30 min wait, I advised her I tried to call in my order but credit card number was requested, which is not good to do for a Customer and she replied “cause y’all play too much, call in orders and don’t pick up.” I asked her who is “y’all “, people of the same skin tone as yours?? She asked if I’m sure I want to place an order cause she’s busy, so i walked out and proceeded to the Monee location, which is less ghetto, had better food, cost less and most importantly, people who work there that appreciate my business and know how to act accordingly!!! Also there has been several carjackings at the Chgo Heights location, security guards are needed to get chicken, smh! Terrible location and need to be closed!!"

"I noticed this RF had opened two years ago, but didn't check it out until this afternoon around 4:30. Thought some fried chicken (their signature item would be good however after punching in my 2 piece breast wing order on the touchscreen, I heard an alarm sound behind the chicken counter, then the young lady politely informed me that the breasts were all gone. She offered to give me a chicken tender but I wondered if that would really take the place of the 2 pieces I wanted (for which RF now charges over $11! Well, it turned out there was one breast remaining under the heat lamp, so I asked for that along with the small wing. Also substituted pasta salad instead of fries, for which I was up charged. Then, after paying up front, I learned that they were also put of pasta salad, so I had to settle for coleslaw. Grabbed some napkins but couldn't find any fork for the slaw, figured it was in the bag, but no. Went out to the car, tried the breast, realized it was a mistake all dried out. Should have picked up an 8 piece fried chicken at the Giant grocery next door would have saved $3 and received over 3 times more meat. Until RF improves their management skills, I'll keep driving to Wawa."

"Nice self check out but 3 employees working only one inside to help with a store full of customers. The one employee working in the kitchen part had to come out to registers because other 2 were outside smoking l. The one inside was rude with me andactually raised his voice to me because I asked if there was anyone else to help. He did help me but not the other people. Thegirl was rude with my friend because she needed cigarettes. I then came outside and let the two employees smoking know that theyneed to help inside and that there other employee actually yelled at me. I?m understanding only because I?ve work that kind ofwork and it happens to get busy but hard to help when your pulling dead weight employees! "First time visiting Royal Farms. I stopped for gas and decided to try their food, ordering a family meal with chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, mac and cheese, and rolls. Unfortunately, the chicken was extremely salty, the mashed potatoes were just okay, the gravy had a strange taste, and the mac and cheese was the blandest I've ever had. The rolls were the highlight, though! I won’t be ordering food here again, but I’ll return for gas and convenience items."

"This store is absolutely disgusting. The chicken and wedges are never fresh like they are suppose to be. 95% of the employees are rude with the exception of one. Donna is so sweet and polite to everyone that comes in the store. Everytime I go in thestore the employees are either on there phones or playing scratch offs. "I would not recommend visiting this location. I've been to other Royal Farms in Maryland and Virginia, and their chicken is usually fantastic—fresh and juicy. However, this store is a different story. The chicken was dry and tough, and the skin was soggy. The mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were old, with some parts hard as if they had been microwaved. The biscuits were stale as well. Seriously, just avoid this place."

"Sunday morning at 9:17 a.m. in Glenolden. I placed my order with the only couple working that morning, and they executed it perfectly, delivering my meal right on time. The chicken was delicious and notably less salty than during my previous visits, which is often an issue when they've had more staff. The lady taking my order was very polite, and the cashier was friendly as well. I picked up a double loader for my church group's gathering, and everyone devoured it in no time! I think my name is Lakisha, or maybe Latisha—I can’t recall exactly—but she was fantastic! "I ordered the 12-piece "family" chicken meal for $23.99, along with two "family-sized" orders of western fries at $5.99 each. However, the meal did not come with any side dishes, which had to be purchased separately: starting at $2.99 for a small, $3.99 for a large, and $5.99 for family size. The total cost of the meal, before tax and delivery fees, was $35.97, which felt overpriced. While the chicken was flavorful, it was a bit too salty. The western fries, however, were absolutely delicious! Despite being labeled as "family" size, the portions weren't enough for six adults, and I had to prepare extra food to satisfy everyone. One of the main reasons for ordering takeout is to avoid cooking! Nevertheless, if you're looking for a tasty snack, I highly recommend trying their western fries."

"Unfortunately, the staff here seems to lack professionalism, which is a common issue in many workplaces today. If you're unhappy in your job, perhaps it's time to find a different one. I waited for 10 minutes while the young employees behind the counter chatted instead of preparing my breakfast sandwich. When I inquired about the status of my order, assuming it was ready since they were just standing around talking, I was rudely informed that they hadn't had a chance to make it yet. I jokingly mentioned that the last sandwich I had from the Royal Farms near my home was amazing and would be hard to beat. In response, one of the employees snickered and told her coworker, under her breath, if I liked it so much, I could go there next time. After this experience, I think I'll choose to visit Wawa, which is now nearby, when I'm in the area next."

"We’ve ordered from this restaurant several times over the past year, and each experience has been a disappointment. Our last order yesterday was particularly bad. The chicken was overcooked, cold, and greasy. The mashed potatoes and gravy had clearly been prepared two days earlier, according to the label. My son’s hotdog bun arrived in three pieces, and the hotdog itself didn't seem to be cooked at all. The food used to be good when we ate in the restaurant, but now I’m not sure if they're sending out old, subpar food for delivery orders. Regardless, we won’t be returning."

"When our order from Royal Farms arrived, we received five chicken tenders—two were a decent size, while three were quite small. The western fries were overcooked, dark brown, and completely dried out, leading us to discard all but six pieces. The only item that was acceptable was the mashed potatoes, but the container was only about three-quarters full. This meal was highly unsatisfactory and not enough for our family of four, costing us $35.35 before tip—exactly the same amount as our original order. This experience is very unusual for Royal Farms, as we typically order from them through the app and are usually very pleased, considering those meals a special treat. I'm currently making sandwiches to supplement dinner for my husband and children. The delivery was great, and our Dasher was very kind; this issue was not their fault."
