"We waited as we watched two families who arrived after us order and receive their meals within 5 to 10 minutes, yet we still hadn’t received our appetizer. I understand that things can get busy, so I tried to stay patient. Unfortunately, our server never returned to refill our drinks or check on us, neither before nor after the appetizer arrived. When our main courses finally arrived, they were brought out one at a time, with one of our orders missing.
After bringing this to our server's attention, he informed us that our order had been overlooked, even though it was clearly listed on the ticket. He promised to send it through right away. However, 20 minutes later, we still had not received it. A large group came in about 20 minutes after us and seemed to monopolize the staff's attention, but that didn’t justify our long wait or the poor service we experienced prior.
To make matters worse, a gentleman with his two kids sat down shortly after us and didn’t receive menus until they had been there for 20 minutes, prompting him to call out for help. After waiting a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes without getting all of our food, I decided to speak with the manager about our experience. I pointed out how many patrons had been overlooked due to the rush from the large group. She did apologize, removed the unserved meal from our bill, and I believe she also offered us a discount.
Overall, the staff at Ledo's fell short this evening. And to top it off, they burned my son’s garlic bread."
