"What a fabulous diner! You walk in to be greeted by a charming statue of a roller derby queen. Walk up an incline to a table with napkins and hand sanitizer with a basket for the napkins. Everything immediately looks immaculate. You are politely greeted by a gentleman who lead me exactly where I wanted to be seated. Ashley, a very sweet and attentive server, took my order. The portions were delicious and huge. The photo doesn’t show the chicken orzo soup, but it was also delicious. I didn’t know the quiche would be coming with all that fruit which by itself would cost more than 50% of the entire combination meal. I certainly hope this place is doing well and will continue for many years because they absolutely give more than your money’s worth. Did I say that the food was delicious, huge portions and that the service was perfect? They’re even playing my music. Just go."

"1. The prices are not on display. (0/10)2. Stated there were no refunds/exchanges, but got my order wrong. I do not like seasoning on my fries which I told the cashier. She put it on the receipt for the kitchen they made it wrong. They argued with me stated that I said “no salt” on fries said they didn’t put salt on there when CLEARLY my fries were heavily dusted with seasoning salt, so I provided visual proof. I showed my receipt as well where it stated NO SALT and the dude still said “we cannot remake it.” WHY? You messed up my order. That is not my fault after I already stated what I wanted at the register and you put it on the receipt. You CANNOT state you don’t do exchanges/refunds if you are being CARELESS with the orders! My friend’s meal was also wrong! After arguing for a minute they finally remade my fries. (0/10)3. The wings are small the honey lemon pepper wings lacked honey (3/10)4. The smoothies are good (10/10)5. The food is decent (4/10) but I won’t be back after that terrible interaction.Parking: You can park on the street"

"Tried El Piquin 2 for the first time today. The food was really delicious, and the service was good. The restaurant looked clean. The shrimp could use a bit more seasoning to be perfect. Update: Came back a few days later. I forgot to mention the great Latin music playing last time—it had me dancing in my chair, LOL! The chorizo is so good I had to return for more. My 13-year-old said it was a bit spicy after two tacos. The flan is tasty as well."

"While staying at the Embassy Suits up the road I looking for a convenience store to pick up some contact solution. I figured I'd find something in walking distance so off I went! Well, I didn't luck out with that but I stumbled upon this awesome deli. I ordered a simple sandwich for dinner and it was perfect; exactly what I was looking for. The neatest part was that the staff thanked me by name as I left. Sure, they asked for it when I placed the order, but I was so enamored that they provided such sincere customer service. 10/10, so glad I stumbled on this shop on foot because I probably would have missed if I were driving."

"Wow! My husband and I decided to take a trip to Elmwood Park and stroll through the neighborhood. We usually stop at Johnny's for a beef sandwich, but we opted to try this place instead after hearing from the cashier about their long history and how fantastic their pizza supposedly is. We were informed that we would have to wait 15 minutes for a fresh slice of cheese and sausage pizza, so we patiently waited. When my husband finally got the slice, it wasn't even warm! It was cold, old, and tasted like cardboard, with something that barely resembled cheese on top. It was so awful that we couldn't finish even one bite. The owners seem too stingy to replace a bad slice, not realizing that this will eventually catch up with them. The pizza here tastes terrible, and I can't understand how they've managed to stay in business for so long. If they continue down this path, they won't be around much longer. I'm so upset that I wish they would just close their doors. They keep their customers waiting for a fresh slice, only to serve up this old, cold mess. There were no apologies, no offers to replace what we paid for, just complete indifference. If you doubt my review, just look at the other comments and reviews from customers who have had similar experiences. One comment even corroborated my thoughts about the pizza being old. How can they justify serving such low-quality food? So, if you're thinking about dining at this restaurant, my advice is to run as fast as you can, like the last two monkeys trying to board Noah's Ark before the rain starts! It's a hard pass from me! You've been warned—enter at your own risk! I'll be disputing the charge with my bank because I refuse to pay for such terrible food!"

"Worse experience from a pizza store. I ordered because it was only 0.8 miles away. Kids were hungry. Ordered online at 6.39. When 40 minutes passed they were called. Then again called 1 hour later. Both time the guy who received the phone lied that pizza is one the way. After 1.30 hr another guy received phone and then said pizza was not prepared. They will be ready soon. Driver arrived half an hour later. I did not blame the Driver because he said he got it few minutes back. I will never order there. Sharing this experience and I also sent this note to the store manager. Update: 1/2/2019 Sorry. Not interested for a Dinner as make up. Sharing the screenshot of the complain sent to the store manager given to the driver who carried the pizza. I hope this helps improving service of this store."

"This was my first time dining at this Chinese restaurant, and it may also be my last. The shrimp lo mein contained no more than eight shrimp, which was disappointing. "I used to go there many years ago the quality of food was really good most recently I went and ordered six wings on their web site menu it said 6.95 when I got there the lady said 9.95. "This restaurant offers two dining options: a Mongolian grill and a buffet. While the Mongolian cuisine is enjoyable, my family prefers the buffet even more. One standout feature of this buffet is how efficiently they manage old food; there's a dedicated staff member for that purpose. Most customers seem to opt for takeout, which leads to a high volume of business, yet many of the food stations are often empty (with the exception of Sundays). The buffet boasts a typical selection you would find in a Southern Chinese buffet, along with some American options for those in the family who are not fans of Chinese cuisine. The service is courteous. I’m giving this review four stars instead of five because, in my opinion, buffet food doesn’t quite earn five stars. Nevertheless, it's an excellent buffet overall. The building itself is a bit outdated, so don’t expect a luxurious ambiance, but that doesn’t take away from the great variety and regular turnover of fresh food."

"I ordered the BBQ oxtails with greens and string beans at Sea Soul, but accidentally chose mac and cheese instead. The oxtails were delicious, though the portion was a bit small. The string beans lacked flavor and tasted like they came straight from a can. Adding smoked turkey legs, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of red pepper flakes would greatly improve them. The collard greens also needed work—they had too many tough stems and the leaves were too large to chew comfortably. Cutting them smaller and seasoning them better would make a big difference. With some simple adjustments, the greens could become much more enjoyable. On the bright side, the carrot cake was fantastic—I almost didn’t want to share it! I’m willing to give Sea Soul another try because I see potential. Judging from many reviews, it seems the main issue is with seasoning. From a chef’s perspective, these fixes could be made easily, and I believe this restaurant could really thrive if they refined their menu."

"From now on, I will be giving a rating of 1 to every single restaurant that I pick up to go food from they don’t put utensils inside my bag. This should be the basic of all the basics. When people order food to go 99% of the time they’re eating outside of their home, they’re eating on the go in the car somewhere where they don’t have access to a Kitchen or what not. My biggest pet peeve is for a restaurant not to waste one freaking fork when giving orders to go. I don’t understand this low level of service that this industry is following. And I don’t wanna hear from the Karen’s talking about the environment and saving the environment by saving plastic or whatever. I ordered food that can only be eaten with a fork and I had no access to a fork or any utensils. Please go back to basics and prepare the food correctly and give utensils with every to go order unless asked otherwise."

"The inside was nice but we waited at least 30 minutes for the waiter (who had 1 other table to take drink orders on a very slow night. The drinks came maybe 15 minutes later and we then waited another 30 to 45 minutes to order food. Our waiter was super jumpy, sweat, and stopped taking our orders mid order to check on his other table and ask if they're ready to pay (they weren't He kept screwing up peoples order (simple orders, like a sausage calzone, he came back out to ask what kind of peppers and my uncle said just sausage. And pasta with broccoli in a white sauce, a few of us ordered it and he thought we all asked for peppers, luckily we caught it before he put the order in. The food came out an hour later, we waited 2 hours or more from sitting for our reservation til we finally got any food, appetizers included.. I had just a few bites of the dish, (the pasta with Broccoli in white sauce it was very bland and not white sauce, it was SWIMMING in butter garlic sauce which was not specified in the menu. White sauce is a term for a cheese or cream based sauce like alfredo. Anyway my mom got the same thing and we both felt sick afterwards. Also ridiculously expensive at $17."
