"Very disappointed. Received a $50 gift card as a Christmas gift to try restaurant. I went for dinner and was told by waitress when I was paying my bill that my gift card was not being accepted.She couldn't really explain why only that management was going to make them acceptable eventually.The restaurant was taken over months ago by new owners before Christmas I just purchased a $60 gift card for a friend's 60th birthday the end of March. The manager or owner gentleman was the one who took my money and gave me the gift card. This means what now my money was taken and now I have to tell the birthday person their gift I gave him is not being accepted?This to me is stealing money from people.What are we to do if we are holding a gift card?"
