"As someone from Galle, Sri Lanka, I can confidently say that the food here is exceptional. It's genuinely authentic and of high quality. Sri Lankan cuisine can be a bit complex when it comes to pairing dishes. You might end up with a mix that resembles pancakes and lasagna—both delicious on their own but not a perfect match. If you're new to Sri Lankan food, I'd recommend starting with chicken Kothu and beef Gotha. Lamprais is also wonderful on its own. All the staple dishes are fantastic—hoppers, pol roti, pittu, and string hoppers. Just be sure to have some gravy to go with them! My personal favorites are the fish curry and black chicken."
