"The food was excellent, and our waitress was fantastic—very friendly and attentive. However, I had to give this place only two stars because the owner's treatment of their employees was unacceptable, making everyone, including us, feel uncomfortable. Our waitress did a great job, but the owner came over and criticized her, claiming she had done everything wrong and had confused the order, when in fact it was the owner who had created the confusion for us and the waitress. She did not deserve to be treated that way. The owner seems to lack any sense of hospitality, and my family and I won’t be returning anytime soon, as we want to avoid being served by her again."

"I have been a regular here since they have opened. The food is always good. I always order the same thing and only once prior to today they accidentally got my order wrong. Today, I ordered an order for pick up. My husband?s was fine, mine wasincomplete. It was missing ginger, sesame seeds, tobiko and masago. The sauce didn?t taste what I normally order ether. Icalled the place up just to let them know. This sweet hostess asked me to send a picture of my food, so I did. I received a callback from her and she basically started to describe the items that I was missing telling me they were in my food, but in smallamounts so I probably didn?t notice. I explained that this was not my first order, but she proceeded to say ?my manager said ? ?when I told her I know what masago, tobiko and sesame seeds were she put me on hold and came back saying ?my manager said??basically defending the food and making me feel like I did not know what I was talking about. The manager never got on thephone, hiding behind this girl. I did not want anything but they also didn?t handle a customer concern well either. As for thegirl who answered the phone she was very nice and professional. The manager should have been the one handling a complaint,not her."

"I decided to visit this restaurant after encountering numerous positive reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others that the overall favorable feedback may not be accurate. First of all, the prices are considerably high, as mentioned in some reviews. I'm usually okay with expensive meals if the quality matches the cost. Unfortunately, it was the poor quality of the food that prompted me to write this review. I ordered a Bento Box that included a California Roll and Bulgogi. The California Roll was disappointing, lacking avocado and containing only a small amount of cucumber. As for the Bulgogi, it was mostly grilled onions—over 50%—and the beef had a rubbery texture, making it the worst Bulgogi I've ever had at a restaurant."

"We are out of town staying in a local hotel. We ventured out for sushi and we were extremely impressed with both the service and the food. The Gyoza were absolutely amazing — we ordered a second plate. Everything was delicious — the service was wonderful. This was literally the only restaurant we’ve been to the past few days where the staff was wearing masks. Overall very impressive and a gem."

"Terrible terrible terrible. It all began as we walked In The feet smell hit us but kids were hungry so we decided to give it a try. Service was mediocre , one waiter for every table. Napkins were not given , we had to ask for them. The little soy sauce bowls that are usually given- were not.! All the Sochi we ordered tasted the same. You could not tell them apart although we ordered a variety. The best part is when we have our credit cards to pay, they asked us how much tip we would like to leave. We responded that we will sign our receipts and leave a tip as in every normal restaurant. But this place didn’t have the option on the receipt to leave a tip so they just went ahead and charged my credit card 20% without my consent. Awful experience , will not ever be back. This review is not to bash the place but they should really improve their service and quality of food."

"My husband and I have been eating here for over 10 yrs. we have celebrated many birthdays and anniversarys without a single complaint! Last night we went there for my daughters 7th birthday (what she asked for), and for the first time ever we were sorely disappointed. Though the food was amazing as always, we were asked to squish our party of 4 at a table already filled with 6 the we felt rushed as the Birthday singing was overlooked. The other party of 6 left the table (but wished our DD Happy bday) and I literally had to go ask the Hostess if they no longer sing. She promptly went and asked our server, who responded! We will gladly return and hope it was just a fluke. I definitely recommend"

"Place was dirty. They dropped a sauce dish and still used it. Seats were disgusting. Food was not good. Had hibachi and sushi. Hibachi was made in the back obviously since they aren't set up for it. Chicken lacked flavor. Vegetables lacked flavor and life like they were frozen, all veg tasted the same. Sushi was under temperature, didn't even finish it with the caution that the fish was not held under correct temperature. Drink refill is disgusting, I hate when people bring back everyone's cups; either you get a pitcher or you hire dish washer and give everyone fresh cups. Don't be cheap at the prices you charge. 1st time customer not impressed, won't go back."

"by poke burrito ordered quite a lot. sad that they have increased their prices and for $5 per bowl limited change to the amount of food they receive. also, my order has the same from the first order until now and they can see a difference in the love to detail in the delivery what they order online. generally good eating, but bad customer service (i.e. not telling them that they have ordered, have won?t be in their bowl) and bad presentation (i.e. dish ordered today was hardly full)."

"I’m glad I looked up sushi while staying in Midtown Manhattan. I’m also glad I found this place when doing so. Great prices for the sushi you get. Left Tropical Roll and Right XO roll. Hard to find the place, it is located inside one of the entrances nearby to the sign and then downstairs."
