"DiMeo's fueled my fantastic run at the Delaware Marathon. After taking the train down from NYC and picking up my race bib on Saturday, I enjoyed a delicious pepperoni pizza for lunch. As someone who grew up in Boston with Italian roots, I consider myself a pizza connoisseur, and DiMeo's truly knows how to craft a pizza. The perfect combination of crispy crust, rich cheese, and flavorful sauce, all generously drizzled with olive oil, made me feel like I was dining in Boston's North End rather than downtown Wilmington. It was so delicious that I returned for dinner that night to have a chicken pesto panini before the race. The next day, I exceeded my marathon goal and planned to treat myself to another meal at DiMeo's to celebrate. Unfortunately, they were closed on Sundays. What a disappointment! I initially thought my trip from NYC to Wilmington for the marathon would be a one-time experience, but now I might have to come back next year—if only for the pizza!"
