She is attentive, knowledgeable and makes a tasty adult beverage. The food is delicious too! So many tempting menu items make it a challenge to decide what to have. "Since everything we’ve ever had here is consistently excellent, we did the filet special and the pizza special (Syd . Never an issue here and tonight was another example of an exceptional experience. I gotta say, for a city with incredible steakhouses, Pitch Dundee blew them out of the water with this filet over risotto special. The Syd (pizza special could likely be the slice that quiets the ‘pineapple on pizza’ naysayers. Spicy. Just sweet enough. Salty. (Oh man. I’m glad I can heat up a couple of leftover slices of that after writing this I’m craving it again! Jack, our server, was on it as usual and was a great guy to work with.This place is a can’t miss! Make a reservation even during the week for dinner. You won’t regret it. Check out the house label red wines outstanding stuff!"

"The staff was very welcoming and nice. My server was Rafael and he was very helpful and attentive. Even if the order I placed was a little complicated, he made sure to get it just right. "This was our first time at the restaurant. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and seated at a very small table. When we ordered, we were informed it was tapas style and ordered multiple dishes which were great. However, they arrived around the same time and rather than space them out, a server (not ours) stated that we would be getting a lot of large dishes that would not fit on the table. It made us feel rushed and a bit discombobulated, which seemed unnecessary. If we go again, I will definitely request a different table in advance in order to have a better dining experience."

"Four of us went to the restaurant on Friday evening at 5:30. There were only a few people at the bar, and no one was eating at the tables, which was not a good sign. We ordered some drinks, but were disappointed to find out that the iced tea machine was broken. When we tried to order our food, we were informed that they were out of fish for the fish and chips, as well as bangers for the bangers and mashed. The steak and mushroom pie we ordered was cold in the middle, so we sent it back. The Reuben sandwich came with no sides, and the fries we ordered were limp and greasy. The Shepard's pie and chicken dish were also disappointing. Despite the bar crowd getting slightly better over the next hour, there were still only a few more diners and the waiter seemed overwhelmed."

"My first impression walking into the place was wow it’s filthy and rundown. It’s kind of dark in there probably hides how dirty it really is. The weight staff was tremendous. Our bartender was very friendly and rattled off some suggestions for our drink. Unfortunately he failed to mention the two drink specials that we discovered when we sat down at our table on the flyer. We would have ordered these. Our waitress was very friendly and very nice, extremely attentive. My Caesar salad was delicious, my husband‘s potato soup was delicious, lasagna was sorely lacking which I would’ve expected to have been the best on the special that we ordered. The chocolate cake was mediocre. I won’t go back Olive Garden has this chain beat all the heck"

"We made a reservation for 30 people 2 weeks in advance, for a Wednesday night. When we got there, we did have a section reserved. The problem was the terrible service and the RUDE waiter. Mind you this was a Wednesday night, it was not busy. The waiter was maybe overwhelmed by the big party, but the comments and remarks he made to all of us were unacceptable. One woman in our party asked if the bathroom was behind the bookshelf (she had never been there) and he said “if you know, why did you ask” the first thing he said to me when I walked in with my daughter “it’s 21 and up at 9” (it was 7:30) one guy in our group was trying to order, and the waiter interrupted and said “I have other things to do- make it quick” he also told a guy to “go outside and pee” when he asked where the bathroom was. We waited over 30 minutes for each drink and we’re told we could not order at the bar… we asked for another waitor to help ours and the manager said “he’s our only server. Sorry” Do not recommend this place for a big group party. We were even all one on tab to make things easier, and got treated very poorly! No excuse for a bad attitude toward friendly people."

"This place is so weird and so wonderful, and as a tourist visiting Memphis for a few days, I am so happy to have found it. The menu is expansive, covering all sorts of odd cuisine — soul food, tamales, wild rice dishes, burgers, etc. There is a children’s menu with a great deal. And then the dessert! Jake’s Original Hot Fudge Pie is so damn perfect that I ordered a second, and I’ll just pretend my kid helped me eat most of it. How that brownie or whatever chocolate wonder sticks to the plate like that is a mystery I will not stop contemplating anytime soon."

"The service and ambiance here was excellent. The menu was very well rounded. We got filet mignon and Royal Red Shrimp to share with salads, sauteed garlic mushrooms and baked potato. There were baskets of a variety of breads and two kinds of butter. Truffles were provided at the end of the meal. It was a beautiful dining experience!"

"We had a reservation and were seated right on time. It was minutes before anyone came to our table to greet us and ask if we would like something to drink. The drinks and bread were served in a timely manner. Of the two dinners, one was OK and one was less than OK. The serving size of the marginal one was small, and the sauce overpowered the fish and vegetables. After our dinner was served, nobody came to our table to ask if there was anything else we needed. Our water glasses were never refilled. We were never asked if we would like a second drink. We have been going to Arnie's for over years. It will probably be a very long time before we try it again."

"The food was good. The veggie of the day was supposed to be asparagus but when delivered the waitress advised me it had been changed and presented me with a mix of shredded zucchini, carrots, kale on the stem (who leaves it on the stem! mixed in a yummy olive oil seasoned sauce. It was yummy (except the kale on the stem) but I would have liked to have had the option to change to a potatoe. My steak was served on a hot plate that kept cooking the darn thing so I transferred it to one of the small plates they give you for garlic bread. They had a wonderful drink menu (top shelf the Old Fashion). I also like a sprinkle of cheese on my salad. The pasta is not homemade which is a bit disappointing when you are going to an Italian based eatery. The atmosphere was good, service was good but I'm jealous that the other waitress talked about specials, etc., Ours didn't. I'd go back but wouldn't order the strip again. It was kinda bland."

"I went here with my boyfriend with high hopes of a fun, bar atmosphere with good food. The atmosphere is ok, kind of towny bar vibes. The food, however, was ROUGH. We started with mozzarella sticks and boneless wings. The mozzarella sticks were room temperature and the sauce was thin and bland. The “boneless wings” were chicken tenders barely coated in sauce. They were tough and unseasoned, and lacked the “crispy” fried aspect we ordered. The sauce itself (fireball whiskey) wasn’t bad, but there wasn’t nearly enough of it. I then got the sizzling steak sandwich. Oof. First of all, it’s open faced, which is not indicated on the menu. The steak was over cooked (I ordered medium) and lacked even basic salt and pepper. There was no garlic sauce to speak of, and was topped with three mushy onion rings. My boyfriend got the fish tacos, which were also offensively bland. The “chipotle mayo” didn’t taste like anything, and they left the full stems on the cilantro not something I want to eat. The only food that tasted good was the fries, and even they were under seasoned. If you’re looking for a bar, this place good be fine. But if you’re looking for food, take your search elsewhere."

"I have been dining at this restaurant for many years and I must say that the menu is truly awesome. The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is great for a dinner setting. The prices per person range from $1 to $10, which is quite reasonable. I highly recommend trying out dishes such as the Patty Melt, Nacho 3 Cheese Nevadomski, Buffalo Chicken Mac N' Cheese, Buffalo Chicken Wings, and many more. The restaurant also offers a variety of sauces that complement their dishes perfectly. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 5 out of 5. This place is definitely worth a visit!"

"I went in to get a table for myself and 3 friends. At 11:40 AM, it was FAR from busy in the dining area. I waited over 15 minutes for the hostess to come out of the bathroom to seat me. I told her we would need a table for 4, she grabbed the menus and silverware settings, walked me to the table and put them in the middle of the table. I placed them at each seat and only had 3. I asked her for another one and she said, I didn 't hear what you said. Then when she came back she basically flung the items at me. My friends arrived and we gave our server our drink orders. She was gone for quite awhile after bringing them before coming back to take our orders. The food runner or cook brought our food. Still it wasn 't busy...but she came back only once to ask if we needed anything and disappeared again for a long time. She came back and asked one friend if she needed a box to go, my friend replied yes and the server disappeared again for awhile. When she finally returned she handed the box to the friend who asked for it, ACROSS THE FRONT OF our other friend WHILE she was STILL eating. We finished our meals and got our payments out to pay. She looked over at our table once and we didn 't see her again, once again, for quite awhile. By this time it had gotten busy. I had to go over to the POS area to hand her our check and payment. We couldn 't just leave because I was using my card. We are very patient and appreciate our servers and food service workers, but this experience was abysmal. I can say there were no complaints about the meals, the food saved the rating, making it 3 stars. Our server was tipped well, mainly because my friends didn 't have payment closer to the amount of their orders... so it was no tip or a better than deserved tip. If it had been busy, we could possibly justify the less than satisfactory experience, but it wasn 't and we can 't."

"The Mediterranean toast is absolutely delicious. It can also be made gluten-free! It includes beer-humid, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion, falafel, and a house-made vegan lime tahini. I was so excited to eat it that I forgot to take a picture! They also have a wide variety of vegan coffee options, such as blueberry cold foam. Highly recommend!"
