"It's a right of passage to get Thai food in Berkeley once the semester begins. On this block, there's about 4 different Thai places to choose from from Racha's, Thai Basil, Berkeley Thai House, and Thai Noodle II! Thai Noodle II is the second location of the OG Thai Noodle which is based closer to Northside/in downtown Berkeley. We ordered the Thai Tea, beef Pad See Ew, and beef pad thai. For the most part, all the thai food tasted pretty basic like any other good thai food restaurant and the portions were pretty good. Pad See Ew (4/5): Was good! Sauciness was good, wish they had more veggies mixed it, beef was a little dry Pad Thai (4/5): Seems like they used more ketchup in the sauce and was a bit on the sweeter side, but still good! Portion sizing is slightly bigger than the pad see ew Thai Tea (4/5): Like any other good thai tea! The place has moveable tables for groups and has windows that open to the street too, so good air circulation! TLDR this place is great for the classics! The service is great and the restaurant is ran by a local family. It has a great vibrance to it and feels very local."
