It seemed that the coffee beans were overcooked, resulting in a flavor that some may describe as bold, but true coffee enthusiasts might find it lacking. In my opinion, the coffee is comparable to what you might find at Starbucks. On a positive note, the homemade jam stands out as a unique and delightful feature of this establishment.."

"I ordered a mixed meat platter with chicken and pork. The chicken had three different colors - pinkish, grayish green, and yellow, which did not look or smell appetizing to me, so I decided not to eat it. The sauces were overly sweet and the cornbread tasted more like cake due to its extreme sweetness. In the past, I have ordered steak, which was flavorful but had a lot of chewy sinew. On the other hand, the pulled pork was decent when mixed with some vinegar, but the unpleasant experience with the multicolored chicken has put me off for good. I do not want to risk my health by eating potentially spoiled food."

"Horrible, horrible experience at Guru's. This was our first and last time coming here. Many things went wrong. First off, it took about 45 minutes for our appetizer to come. It actually came after our entrees, which we ordered at least 15 minutes after the appetizer. My wife ordered the ribeye and ribs combo. The ribs were cold in the center and her ribeye, which she ordered medium rare, came out well done. The corn looked more grey than yellow. They cooked her a new steak and that came out seared on the outside and purple on the inside. It was horrible. They did take that entree off our bill since she hardly touched it, so that was nice. I ordered a jalapeño chicken burger but took it to go since I filled up on bread and bottomless fries. The picture I attached is of what I discovered in my burger today. I brought the burger to work for lunch, heated it up, and on my third bite I discovered a mouthful of paper. It looks like the paper cheese or meat patties come on. Absolutely unacceptable. If they didn't remove my wife's entree from our bill our total, before tip, would've been over $70. The only part of our entire meal that wasn't messed up was the free bread. This place was a total letdown."

"We were in town to see the Neil Armstrong Museum, and a quick search for restaurants in the area turned Al's Woody's Diner up. We decided to go, and I'm so glad we made it! The restaurant is small but packed with fun decor about the Ohio State. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a huge selection of dishes and a good selection on the children's menu. The children got the chicken strips and cheeseburgers. They both loved what they got and said it was delicious. I got the Speck Cheeseburger and it was delicious. My wife got the appetizer and it was much more than she and I could finish together! The onion rings were huge and great! The potato skins were also pretty good. The mushrooms were huge and how my wife likes them. The fried pimples were large spears and also perfectly cooked. If you are in this area and want some delicious food, don't hesitate to stop!"

"I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! The ramen was the best I've ever tasted. When the bill arrived, I was shocked at how affordable it was—just $38 for all that we ordered! We shared the Blaze Ramen, a pork bun, spicy tuna rice cakes, and crispy chicken karaage, all of which were absolutely delicious. The ramen broth was exceptional with just the right amount of spice. The pork was so tender it practically melted in my mouth, and I was so hooked on the marinated egg that I ended up ordering an extra one. The restaurant itself was very clean and welcoming. Even though the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed—there were only a few of them handling numerous delivery orders while the place was packed—they remained respectful and attentive. This has become my new favorite spot, and I’m already craving more!"

"The food at this restaurant is good, but the customer service leaves something to be desired. I mistakenly placed an order at the wrong location (Sunset Blvd. in LA) and tried to call to correct the mistake. However, the phone line was consistently busy, indicating that someone was intentionally keeping it open without answering. Eventually, we made a separate order at the correct location, but when inquired about the first order at the sister location, we were told to contact Silverlake's helpline or fill out a form on their website, which proved to be unhelpful. This is not the first time we've had issues with this restaurant chain. The problems always seem to arise from understaffing and busyness at their locations. The broth is delicious, but the prices are higher compared to other ramen places. Despite understanding the challenges of customer service, all we wanted was a quick refund before the food was even made. We encountered network issues while trying to call, but the fact remains that we made multiple attempts to contact the restaurant and received no response."
