"I wanted to have my meal there and take any leftovers home, but when I returned at 2:30 PM, the staff insisted I had to take my food to go. I pointed out that they were open until 3:00 PM, and there were no other customers dining at that time. The staff just stared blankly at me, showing no willingness to accommodate my request. I understand that cultural differences may be at play, but it's frustrating. I tried to express that if the restaurant is open until 3:00 PM, they should serve customers until that time, but there was simply no response. I then went to my car to call the manager, who explained that the chef takes a break from 3:00 to 4:30 PM, which is standard practice for them. However, I’ve never encountered a restaurant that would turn away customers 30 minutes before closing. It felt like they didn’t care to provide good service because they didn’t see the value in my business. This happened on March 2, 2009, during a time when people are cutting back on dining out due to economic challenges. I found it hard to justify spending $17 on lunch when no other restaurant treats their customers this way. I’ve dined there at other times during the evening, and I didn’t find anything exceptional about the food, especially given the high prices. If this continues, I expect they might go out of business soon, especially since there are five other dining options nearby. Regardless of cultural differences, bad service is just unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend going here!"

"I don't normally give a 5 star review unless everything from start to finish was superb, and this birthday celebration dinner for my son was just that. Friendly staff, good food, and a really fun and entertaining atmosphere is exactly why we picked hibachi dinner to celebrate my son's 4th birthday. I ordered the shrimp tempura roll as an appetizer and it was one of the best I have ever eaten. Then we all ordered from the hibachi menu and I got the steak and shrimp combo. I like how you have a choice of either fried rice or noodles. The noodles were a huge hit for my son and that is mainly what he ate. The chef knew it was for my son (4yrs old) and said he went light on the sauce so that it wouldn't be too much for him. He also cut up the chicken in much smaller pieces than for the adults which was very nice. The attention to each individual persons needs you could tell mattered to the chef. That stood out to me the most. The entertainment was the cook and I could tell he genuinely enjoyed his work. We finished off the dinner with staff singing happy birthday and enjoying the best fried ice cream. I forgot how much I loved fried ice cream. This location will now be my go-to spot for both good sushi and a fun hibachi dinner. I can't wait to return!"

"Solid ramen spot if you're in the area! I found the broth flavorful and noodles to be just the right amount of chew and thickness. However, I wouldn't say it's anything super spectacular or out of the ordinary. Overall, it is well priced for what you get. Service is also quite quick, which makes sense since they're usually quite busy during dinner time and want to turnover as many tables as possible. If you're planning on coming during lunch or dinner time, I'd highly recommend putting your name on the list early, as it can take awhile to get seated."

"We admit we’re creatures of habit! We love visiting Green Leaf, not just for the tasty food but also for the outstanding service and exceptional staff. Kevin, Winnie, Bianca, and all the other servers made us feel very welcome and ensured we had a wonderful evening. We know what we enjoy, so we stick to our favorites. My husband always orders the Crispy Jumbo Shrimp with Honey Sesame Sauce, which comes with seven jumbo shrimp, crispy noodles, broccoli, walnuts, and that delicious honey sesame sauce. I, on the other hand, always opt for the Shrimp Tempura platter, featuring six large shrimp and a variety of vegetables, including carrots, green beans, zucchini, and broccoli. Everything is light and crispy, never greasy, and it’s served with a soy-like sauce and white rice. We also appreciate that the restaurant allows you to bring your own beverage. The atmosphere was vibrant tonight, and it was lovely to see families enjoying their meals together."

"We visited this restaurant after spending time at the pool on a quiet Thursday evening. Our server was fantastic and fulfilled all our requests. She also recommended some great dishes for us to share. The menu has a wide variety of options. Our food arrived quickly and was incredibly fresh. It was so delicious that my daughter even ventured to try some dishes she typically wouldn't consider. I also enjoyed a refreshing drink for just $5, thanks to their summer promotion. We’ll definitely return to sample the sushi. Overall, our family had a perfect experience and I would rate it 5 out of 5!"

"We've been coming to this restaurant for 10 years, and it consistently serves the best sushi in the city that meets my needs and expectations. In my experience, everything is excellent, except for the wait service, which is quite slow. That's why I can only give it 4 out of 5 stars. I even tip despite the poor wait service (not the food service itself, which is great; it's just the time it takes) because I've noticed issues with the wait staff since I first started coming here a decade ago. I'm usually here for dinner, so overall, I rate it 4 out of 5."
