"In the northwest corner, you can still find some of the old wooden shelves, almost serving as a nostalgic nod to the previous store. There's also a walk-in beer cooler at the back, where prices are marked by hand and items are organized by size and type. However, it feels more like rummaging through a storage room than browsing in a store when searching for your desired beer. It seems they are still in the process of expanding, as there appears to be a partially completed cigar shop on-site.
Prices remain similar to what I remember, but the personalized assistance I used to receive while searching for wine is noticeably lacking now. Despite these changes, the new Ranchmart Wine and Spirits is likely to attract a larger customer base and compete more effectively with Hy-Vee Wine and Spirits down the road. I suppose I will continue to shop there, but I truly miss my old little wine shop."
