"I usually do not write reviews, but appreciate reading them and the time people take to write them. I felt compelled to write one due to our initial experience, from the unwelcome greeting and poor management response, I am traveling with my 2 daughters for a family event in MB. After a long 8 hr drive from the Bay Area (traffic delays, etc…not hotels fault), we were excited to check in. No one greeted us when I parked in front and walked in. Checked in, no offer of help with baggage or assistance where carts our located. I asked parking attendant at stand, he said i can find them inside..no offer again to get someone to assist me, Then a bellman was heading towards me with a cart, I thought he was going to assist me..No he walked past me to help a gentleman . I did find someone who was getting a cart from the closest. He said , “you can use, but please return it back here”. I was shocked by that request. Of course I would bring back down…but why didn’t he offer to call someone to assist me. Three times an attendant could have offered to help . After getting my daughters to our room and unloading bags, I went down to speak with a Manager. He was No help, No apology, asked who employee was he told me to return cart. I wasn’t complaining to get one person in trouble. He clearly missed my complaint. He said, “OK, I’ll talk to them”…no apology. I saw how differently I was treated there, as a petite, Latina woman, traveling without her husband, and dressed in casual clothing (due to long long drive). So disappointed, especially since most of the staff are latinos."
