"Once seated, our waitress provided menus and took our drink order. The special Mother’s Day menu was two-sided, listing breakfast options on one side and dinner on the other. Our party of five decided on dinner choices, but when the waitress returned with our drinks after a lengthy absence, she suddenly informed us, “You have to choose items from the breakfast menu. We don’t serve dinner until after 4:00 PM.” This was at 1:15 PM. I pointed out that the menu did not state any time restrictions and asked to speak to the manager. When the female manager came over, I expressed our concerns, especially regarding the confusing menu. She acknowledged that the menu was misleading and apologized for the poor service we experienced, but offered no solutions or compensation for our inconvenience.
As a result, we had no choice but to order from the breakfast menu. We also had to ask for water and utensils for our party, and the food was mediocre at best. This type of service is unacceptable in a quality restaurant. Additionally, be aware that this restaurant imposes a 3% service fee for credit card transactions. Given our disappointing experience, we would have expected at least a discount or a complimentary dessert, but the manager provided neither. We will not be returning.
On May 25th, I received a response on Yelp from the restaurant owner claiming their general manager had reached out to me and my family about our concerns. This is a blatant lie, as no one from the restaurant has contacted us at all. Their response seems like a ploy to convince customers that they care about customer satisfaction. This restaurant does not deserve your business."
