"Post Oak Grill, located in the tunnels, has a nice ambiance that gives it an upscale feel, and the lunch prices reflect that. Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. I ordered chicken fried chicken, and honestly, Treebeards does it better for a lower price.
Here, the chicken was pre-breaded and deep-fried, resulting in a flat breast smothered in a dried-up white gravy by the time it arrived. The mashed potatoes were bland, accompanied by a few pieces of broccoli, a thick slice of carrot, and a couple of green beans, all artfully arranged on a white plate.
They do offer complimentary biscuits, but they’re just store-bought ones with some jalapeño and ham mixed in. I was among the first to arrive for lunch, yet my food came out looking merely warm and unappetizing. The plate was scalding hot, making it nearly impossible to touch. Throughout my meal, I received refills of Coke, tea, and Diet Coke, but nothing else seemed redeemable about this place. I forked over $30 and left feeling disappointed and puzzled as to why so many people continue to flock to this restaurant."
