"Visited here for the first time with my husband and his cousin who was visiting NY. It was one of the few places that had available tables on a Friday night and took reservations. When we arrived we had to wait a few minutes for them to clear our table and the entire restaurant was super crowded. They did have glass partitions between tables but considering COVID-19 is airborne, those would do very little in terms of protection. Thankfully, we?re fully vaccinated. Our server was a real gem. She was so sweet and attentive. We had to yell everything across the table because it was sooooo loud! Turning the music down 10% would have made it more comfortable. When the mariachi band played, as fun and enjoyable as it was, the combination of that plus the music raised the noise levels to about 110 decibels. Workers should get their hearing tested. The food was alright. Nothing too special. Tostones were hard as rocks! Shrimp tacos were dry, overcooked, and flavorless. Chicken fajitas were bland. I actually ate the sides that accompanied my husband?s main course and didn?t touch my tacos again after 1 bite. The highlight of the night were the drinks. God damn they make a mean margarita! I tried the Willy?s Panchos margaritas. It was sooo strong but so delicious. This is definitely the place to go if you want great tasting and well-priced cocktails but don?t care too much about getting food. Everyone says the other locations are more spacious, perhaps I?ll try those next time."

"Nice place but small inside. They have outdoor eating as well, also a small area. If you sit in the aisle seat someone seems to always be bumping into your chair. The service is okay. They were busy so didn’t have time to check on us . We had to flag down the waitress 3 times. For refill of drinks, napkins and the check. It’s also a bit pricey, but the food was good. Service: Dine in"

"I just moved to the area god awful this place. Do not drink the red sangria its full of syrup and a drop of red wine, i got so sick it upset my stomach bad. The portions are a joke, huge plate such little food/presentation. The skirt steak was good but not for the price. Service was so awful to the point not worth complaining just laugh it off with your partner and make the best of it. Server is always MIA in the beginning but ALWAYS on top and around when the bill is set paid. Utensils are disgusting and so messed up. We took 4 from the table next to us to have all 3 dirty, crusty old food on the knife in between the fork head. The only one who made it nice and showed they cared a the busser. He was so sweet cared spoke with us, i rather have tipped him than our server. I will stick with East Meadow cleaner, nicer, busier, better portions"

"We were seated quickly when we arrived. Server was very attentive and helpful in helping us deciding on entrees. The roja sangria and the margaritas were excellent along with our food. The portions are generous and very nicely presented. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!"

"My experience with Mojitos was very unpleasant. My food was a disgusting mess. I had an insanely overpriced carne asada burrito, it cost me $18. The tortilla was soggy and the inner contents were freezing cold. The fries it came with were like gross, cold, wet noodles. They put lettuce inside the burrito! This is absolute anarchy. The lettuce was brown wilted disgustingness. It tasted like old bananas. The carne asada was hard and dry, more akin to beef jerky than overpriced mexican steak. My nacho platter was an inedible lump of cold cheese and wet soggy debris. What inspired me to write this review was the terrible stomach cramps and explosive diarrhea that I got from eating here. I'm writing this right now doubled over in pain on the toilet bowl! All in all, you couldn't pay me to eat here again. Easily one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Salsa Fresca blows this place out of the water!0/10 stars"

"I thought we had found a decent new regular place, but I had a really bad experience here that never wants me back. We made a reservation and when we wanted to sit, we asked ourselves to sit at a somewhat larger table to not be sent and directly to the other guests. The last time we were there, the table did not fit the amount of food we ordered, so we thought that was a simple request. But the man who sat on us was extremely rude and said it was not possible even though there were several tables available. Instead, he said we could just sit at a table right at the front door. At freezing temperatures and the door that swings open and meets the chair, this was simply not an option for us. He couldn't care less. Much better go somewhere where your business is appreciated."

"On May 6, 2022, I took my nephew out for Cinco de Mayo celebrations last night. I'm so glad I arrived at 5:45 PM, even though he was running late! The owner was incredibly gracious and seated me despite my guest not being there yet. By the time we left around 7:30 PM, there was a line stretching halfway down the block to get in, which is no surprise given how amazing the food is. My nephew had never been there before and was blown away by how fantastic the Mole Poblano was. The chicken was incredibly tender and the sauce was simply delicious. While I usually order that, since he chose it, I went with the Alambre de Camarones, a grilled shrimp dish served over rice. We started our meal with mini chicken tostadas. The service was outstanding—attentive and friendly without being intrusive. I've tried several other local spots like Maya Rivera and Los Abuelos, but honestly, Hacienda is the best, even if it is smaller than the others."

"We enjoyed the guacamole and salsa. The medium guacamole and it was fairly spicy. Each person ordered a different kind of enchiladas and tacos and then we traded around so that everyone could try several kinds. We were severed quickly which would be good for people who have an evening engagement. Our only complaint was that it was quick noisy which made it difficult to hear each other at our table."

"The atmosphere was lovely, and the music added to the vibe, though it was a bit too loud for my liking. The drinks were both delicious and strong. I requested water but ended up waiting quite a while and had to remind the staff. The waitress was friendly, but they didn’t have what I ordered, and my friend finished her meal before I even received mine. I re-ordered but by then, I wasn’t really hungry anymore. They also forgot my friend’s vegetables. On the plus side, the food was very tasty. However, I was surprised to be charged $2 for sour cream. I had to speak with the manager about that. Overall, I was somewhat disappointed with the experience but I’m willing to give them another chance."
