"I visited this restaurant and tried the birria tacos, but I found them to be quite disappointing. The tacos were dry, and the sauce lacked flavor. I've had better experiences at food trucks. To make matters worse, there was hardly any meat in the tacos—just mostly fat, which felt like a waste of money. I was surprised by the complete lack of seasoning in both the meat and the taco itself. It was mainly just fat, which made it quite unpleasant, and the meat wasn’t even cut properly. I nearly choked on it."

"Was working around the area and decided to try this spot out. It’s a mix of Salvadoran and Mexican food. The tacos were delicious specially the tacos de alambre. I also tried the asada quesadilla. "This restaurant is an excellent spot for tacos. I visited for lunch recently, and I found them to be very satisfying. I ordered the steak, chicken, and pork al pastor tacos. The al pastor had the most flavorful taste, although it was smaller than the other options. The steak and chicken were decent too, but I did notice some fatty pieces, which was somewhat unappealing. "Never been here. This was highly recommended by my Hispanic friend saying it's authentic. I was not disappointed. I had the half chicken meal with rice and beans. They bring the container with the tortillas. The chicken was so different. It appeared to be flattened like a pancake. A half chicken meal for $12.99. I could tell the marinade had lime in it, but it was slightly too salty for my taste. I tried ordering it with no salt, but she said it's already marinated. It had roasted green onions on top of the chicken. I loved the beans! They were light and creamy with a great taste and texture. How they make the beans is my favorite. I know each region has their own way. The chips were warm when they came and both the red and green salsas were very good. The music playing was a CD and showed the tracks of what was being played. It made the atmosphere very authentic and upbeat. I was on my lunch hour, and I went back to work a very happy camper. I loved this place and will definitely be back!"

"Nope...... food was not good .... and the service was horrible... usually I can look past bad service if the food is amazing but no ... when we went there, there were 2 other tables, so not busy our waitress took our drink order and there were 7 of us, she forgot 1 drink and didn 't bring it out until the food came out 35 min later, and then never brought us utensils until about 10 min after our food was dropped off and only brought 3 forks ... again 7 people ... sushi was good ?... and that 's it .... Mexican food was so bad, carnitas fries was sad ... we got about 11 frys covered in something, the cheese quesadilla the cheese was not even fully melted inside, chicken quesadillas, tasted like canned chicken and the rice was obviously cooking in a bag and then sprinkled with some corn and carrots.... and our menus smelled like a dirty washcloth. Honestly, again this place 's sushi was good .... but EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE else was so bad after we were done it was 200 bucks..... paid it but will never go back ...."

I decided to order the menudo, and the friendly server offered me a choice between flour, corn, or HAND-MADE corn tortillas. Naturally, I couldn’t resist the handmade option. When my meal arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the array of toppings, which is uncommon for most taco spots. They provide everything: oregano, lime, red chilies, onion, and cilantro. It felt like heaven! As I took my first few bites, I realized this wasn't just any menudo; it was authentic Mexico City-style pancita. I can't wait to return to explore more of their menu. My meal—without a drink or tip—came to only $14. This place is definitely worth a visit!"

"I had a good experience here on a sunny afternoon. I sat outside and was greeted quickly. the menu is diverse and had a good number of vegetarian options, including veggie tacos, and the veggie enchiladas that I ordered. the waitress brought chips and salsa. the chips are my big weight. they groomed excessively as they stale, and the chips and salsa needed salt. the enchiladas came out pretty fast. they were absolutely tasty---I'm not really for drilling, so that says a lot! the tear was just fine. the enchiladas were good, and I added the tomaten salsa on the salsa verde they came. I also ordered a side of guac, that was delicious. the price was reasonable and it was a pleasant meal on the terrace."

"This place is simply just awesome. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s super clean and well kept. The ladies that served me and my friend today were super nice! I felt right at home here, which says something, because it’s not too often I get that feeling in SLO as someone who is not local to the area. The food was great. The salsa bar is probably the best I’ve seen at a restaurant, not to mention, also the best tasting. They also keep their salsa bar and entire restaurant super clean too, which are big factors for me when deciding to dine at a restaurant. So glad I found this place, can’t wait to come back and try more menu items and drinks !"

"This is some damn good food. Authentic flair, I felt like I was at the mercado in Juarez. We got the nachos (not a normal entree we get, but they were fantastic! . We also grabbed a brownie-loaded piece of cheesecake. I'm not sure if they make their own desserts but it was honestly the best cheesecake I've ever had. "I adore this cozy restaurant. The Mexican food here is authentic and delicious. The chefs are all women, which I really appreciate. The atmosphere is very casual and all the staff are fluent in both English and Spanish. One of the reasons I love this place is because it's only 4 minutes away from my house. They offer a wide variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On a scale from 1-10, I would give it an 8."
