"While our dinner experience was good, the brunch experience was not great. It took a very long time to get our food. The crabcakes (which were delicious) came out very quickly, but then it was another 30 minutes before our mains (the Bellwether Benedict, and the Croque Madame) came out, during which time the wait staff apologized twice for the delay because of a shift change in the kitchen. I 'm sorry, but for these prices there should be no need for any apologies, and if any apologies are necessary some compensation should be given. And when our food did arrive it was lukewarm. The ham in the Croque Madame was actually cold, and I had to really work to taste the gruyere cheese because there was so little of it. Sorry, but this was a very disappointing experience."

"I was in the mood for good quality sushi and found Daigo on Yelp. I remember visiting the SF location and remembered it was delicious so I wanted to give this newer location a try. We both had the Omakase with a couple of a la carte items. The 6 fishes that were served to us in the beginning of the Omakase weren't the best. They were mostly bland colored fishes that all tasted the same-rubbery and tasteless. But then it got better. The other items were fresh, buttery and amazing. The Toro and Uni were my favorites of the night. We also had the crispy tempura mushroom with truffled salt, hamachi shooters and monk fish. All were delicious! We also shared a black sesame cheesecake which wasn't the best. It had a pretty dense filling and nonexistent crust. Overall, I'll be back, but I would skip the dessert."

"I visited the restaurant last weekend and really enjoyed the aged meat platter, which was accompanied by some intriguing pickled roots. The Duck Confit was flavorful, but the portion was quite small. We also sampled the all-red wine flight featuring three Italian wines; two out of the three were quite good. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of labeling each glass with a little tag to identify the wines."
