"I found the atmosphere of the restaurant to be as expected, but the staff's reception was not welcoming. I informed my waitress that I was a first-time customer and asked for guidance on how to create my own pizza. She was helpful in assisting me. I ended up ordering a thin crust pizza, which was slightly burnt - not my usual choice. The waitress did not check on me or offer a refill on my drink, although she did check on the table behind me frequently. I couldn't help but notice that I was the only person of color in the restaurant, and while I don't want to assume it was a factor, it left me feeling uncomfortable. I chose not to express my disappointment as I normally would have, as I wanted to enjoy the experience of trying a new restaurant in my home state of North Carolina. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet the standard of other restaurants I have been to in my travels."
