"Since I moved to Briarcliff a year ago, I have been in search of a classic slice of pizza. I am also extremely adverse/somewhat allergic to garlic. So I was very pleased to find Donato’s. Phil has spent time to hear out my ‘issues!’ I’ve been several times since our first convo. I am so pleased with the Arugula/Prosciutto pizza and just tonight with the Rigatoni Ragusa. The kitchen understands my ‘allergies’ and is always accommodating. And the staff (especially Juan Carlos) is amazing. I didn’t ask the name of my young server tonight, but he was clearly well trained. Customer satisfaction is key and they do it well. And while I don’t mean to be difficult, I have special issues. plus I am 100% Italian (born and raised) so I am not your Olive Garden customer and like Marcella Hazan I “abhor the overuse of garlic!” These guys know what they are doing! And btw, if you are a fan of garlic, they do it well. thank you."
