"We loved finding this place! Since my husband loves golf I thought it was very fitting. The view is incredible. When we dined it was a bit smoky due to the fires but we still sat outside for the pretty view. I would say overall the people are really nice but the service needs some work. We mentioned to the server it was our anniversary and she happily congratulated us but I guess I just expected a dessert or something to make the dinner experience more exceptional. There were no check ins on how the food was (I would have gladly shared my oily pasta saga). When I asked the server what kinds of desserts they had she shrugged her shoulders and said “I don’t know, let me get you a menu.” If you work somewhere you should know the menu and be able to suggest items! Lots of high school summer workers and very polite and courteous. We’d definitely go back for sure next time we’re in Truckee"

"Food was really good and so was the service. Never had an empty glass of water or an empty bread basket. They were super on top of it for a busy Saturday night. Brian and Gina (might have gotten that name wrong) were a fantastic team and We couldn’t have asked for better service. The bolognese and salmon were both really good, as was the arancini. I will admit that we were sat a little too close to other tables and it felt like they were cramming people in one corner. I hate when restaurants with romantic atmospheres do that. We heard other tables starting to complain to each other as we were leaving and more people were coming in. Definitely should space out tables, I’d be very uncomfortable if we were sat in one of those booth seats next to other people. Hate that set-up. For a date night you want to speak with your wife, as opposed to yelling over a table of women out for lady’s night. Otherwise it was a really good experience, I was definitely impressed, and we will return on occasion, but I will probably request to be seated away from the crowd."

"We went on New Years Eve, so the place was packed. The service was exceptional, as was the food. We had an appetizer of this garlic cheese bread with shrimp and bleu cheese...oh my goodness, it was WONDERFUL! My entree was the Asiago Filet, another slam dunk! Honestly one of the best steaks I have eaten! The other people in my party had a pasta, fish, and steak. They all loved it. Creme brulee and tiramisu for desert. It was a perfect end to a perfect meal! I really enjoyed this dining experience!"

"The food was good but definitely overpriced. The environment was very cool and I really liked the design of the place. The food came out very slow and the table that came after us actually got the food we both ordered first, which was confusing. But the main reason this place got a 2 star overall was that the hostess stopped us while we were leaving asking for more tip. This took us by surprise as she was very passive aggressive about it. Basically guilting is to change the tip amount, she also said the average percentage of what customers usually tip so she didn’t understand why we didn’t also tip that amount. I understand that serving is a tough job but stoping the customer and asking for more money is just rude. We ended up tipping more but we definitely will not be going back."

"A disappointing experience. One member of our group had pasta that was so clumped together that she could only eat half of it. By the time we managed to get the waitress's attention, she offered to remake the dish, but we had already finished our meals. Additionally, she didn't offer a discount for the issue. We all ordered lunch specials, which were clearly advertised in several places at $14.95, yet each meal came out to a higher price than what was advertised. Unfortunately, nothing about today's visit would motivate me to come back."

"The staff was very attentive and cared for every need of ours. Their timing was great they kept the table cleared of any used dishes, and they brought us refills of everything that we needed. A group of six of us had the carbonara because we all loved it so much, some with rigatoni, some with fettuccine and some with spaghetti. One of us had a cheese pizza, and the other had a pasta with a pesto sauce. One of our group also had the pasta of the month that had shrimp and pesto base sauce as well, and it was delicious. We felt we were served extremely well, and the food was very tasty. We would suggest anybody that likes Italian food to go here."

"I ordered the Ringer Vogel cocktail ($9), but I cannot recommend it; it was overly sweet and tasted similar to floral perfume. My friend opted for a beer. We tried a few appetizers: the elotes frit and fried pickles. The frit was delicious, but the pickles were sweet, greasy, and heavy in our opinion. We shared the recommended garnelen tacos and a burger that was mediocre at best. The only reason we would return to the hub is for the outdoor terrace and a cold beer."

"Ordered the the chilaquiles with eggs over easy and added chicken (for delivery). I also asked for some shredded lettuce and tomatoes on top. I was really excited because I read some good reviews but was instantly disappointed when I opened my container. My eggs were missing and no lettuce or tomatoes. The rice was hard and tasted old like it was left over from yesterday. The beans were good. The salsa verde and tortilla part was tasty . However the chicken was dry. It didn't feel like a part of the dish. It was sprinkled on top like a last minute afterthought. There was also a brown rotting avocado on top. When I called the restaurant to complain, they blamed the driver, instead of owning up to and trying to rectify the situation. Last I checked, drivers don't prepare food. I do not recommend ordering takeout from here."

"I would give this place 10 stars if I could! My wife and I stopped here for lunch on a Saturday, as my step daughter recommended it since we were traveling thru this area. The place was pretty busy with only a couple tables open. We did not have to wait, as the hostess seated us right away. Our server was very friendly. I had the Cajun Chicken wrap. It was delicious and frankly one of the best wraps I've ever had in my life. My wife ordered one of their salads, which she also said was very good. The service was very fast. We did not wait long at all for our food to arrive. The atmosphere is very nice. Sort of like an upscale coffee shop. I would definitely go here again. Parking can be a little difficult. We ended up parking down on one of the neighborhood side streets. Pay attention to the parking signs, as some sides have no parking, depending on the day and time."

"The food is priced well and has decent portions. We purchased a fish and chips, and it took about 10 minutes to get to us. It stayed warm, and the fish was crispy on the outside and flaky inside. We also purchased eggplant roll ups, green beans,and stuffed shells, which we took home cold to heat up later. Parking is an issue during a busy time and there was only one person taking orders, which is concerning when you have yound toddler children with you who don't like to wait."

"This restaurant was definitely worth the 80-minute drive! I can't wait to return. The staff here is amazing! Although not everyone speaks English, they were incredibly helpful, from the servers to the cashier and even management. I followed their recommendation to try the combo plate, and it turned out to be the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. The pita bread was fantastic, and the hummus was so smooth. My friend had doubts about the hummus bowl but ended up loving it. The ordering system is convenient; you can place your order through an app or at the cashier, and the servers bring the food to your table, which works well for families and is excellent for groups!"

"The food here is amazing, and the staff is so friendly. My company has our Christmas party here, and this is the conversation about the office all year round. Her crab cakes are the best I had in New England (I grew up near the Chesapeake bay, so I have high standards for crabs). Her chicken picatta was in the three tops I've ever had. And her entire staff is very friendly and attentive. If you are looking for amazing Italian food (from what my colleagues say they have the best main rib in the area too) and great service, this is a must for you."

"Came here and ordered a lamb gyro and lamb bowl. Everything was going well until the lady who was preparing our food answered her cellphone with her gloved hand and then placed the cellphone on the surface where food is prepared. She then proceeds to use the same glove to pick up the toppings for our dishes. So gross and completely negligent of food safety. We were appalled!"

"Took my mom on a date last Saturday night in Beaver Dam. First time at this Supper Club/Steakhouse!You definitely will be taken back in time at this one. It it wasn't for the sign that was lite up... from the outside it looks like an abandoned old building. I tried to sneak some pictures to show you the retro, back in time decor. I'm pretty sure the locals there thought I was strange snapping pictures during my visit ?It's a bar that has a dining room. The salad bar is excellent and has a great selection. Food was decent portion. Both my Mom and I thought our food was delicious, we enjoyed it. Steak came out just as we ordered. Mom ordered mushrooms on her steak, but didn't get them. Not the end of the world-I shared mine! I got a Brandy Old Fashion Sweet, but I personally didn't like it. My mom had one but a sour and she didn't say she didn't like it. We were too full to get an after dinner drink or dessert (shouldn't have filled up on the salad bar items,? there were alot to chose from). Wait staff seemed stressed, but they were nice to us. This place has the crackers cheese spread, hot rolls and check out my steak knife!!!!! ??? We will be back!"
