"Cash only, classic old hot dog/ sandwich diner type place. 12:15 pm on a Friday at lunch there were two or three groups waiting for spots. Within 5 minutes of walking in we found two spots at the counter and within 5 minutes of sitting down we had our food. We both did hot dogs with mustard, slaw, and chili and I also did a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. Like other reviews have said, the cheese was not melted but that's because they basically had food prepared and were assembling it to order. But it was still extremely good for a basic hot dog and burger. Veggies were fresh, cole slaw crisp, chili is pleasant and somewhat peppery. Bacon, burger and hot dogs all cooked as they should be. Hot dogs had a good texture but the overall effect was a little on the bland side. Add some of their famous sauce to give it a zesty kick. Enjoyed it all and certainly would go back and order the same again. Sitting at the counter we had the enjoyment of being able to see the whole restaurant which was quite entertaining. The number of plates that some of the servers were able to carry was amazing. The particular person behind the counter helping us was a very charming classic country lady."
