"I was going to give 1 star but since they at least tried with the vegan menu I 'll make an exception and give 2 1/2 stars. After all the vegan menu is the reason why i came here. Other things led up to the low star rating. Let 's start from the beginning. Arrived around 6pm and there was only a few tables, not busy at all. Seated quickly which was nice. Drink order was takenquickly. Our waitress seemed nice, but a little off though. Couldn 't tell if she was just extremely tired or her feethurt..idk but she was off and kept leaning forward like she was going to fall asleep. Anyway..moving on. After we ordered wewaited for the soup appetizer. My wife ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls and I ordered the barley soup but it actually waslentil soup that she brought out. Ok, maybe she thought it was called barley?? Idk but lentils and barley are not the same thinglol! Anywho...I 'm told by my partner that the cheesesteak egg rolls were interesting The Asian mixed with the cheesesteak wasweird but still good. The dips they paired with them were even stranger...BBQ sauce and sweet sour...hmmm why not pair it witha cheese dip?? Just a thought. Next, while waiting for our order it was starting to get busy. People being seated, some orderstaken and a few not. Two tables next to us were waiting a while before anyone even took their order. The family at one tablefinally got up and left because they got tired of waiting then the next family followed after that. It took quite a while for usto get our food too. In the meantime the waitress never came back to refill our drinks or even check on us. We had to wave herdown and ask for refills. When the food came it looked good visually. Taste was a different story. I ordered the vegan chicken marsala and it was weird. The plant based chicken they used was breaded and had an Asian flavor to it and was so overcooked Icould barely cut it leaving it inedible. The sauce was eh..different and the mushrooms were clearly"

"I had previously visited The Omelette Factory and found it to be a decent experience—nothing exceptional, neither good nor bad. However, after a recent brunch with friends, I can confidently say we were all very happy with our time there! Let me start by mentioning our hardworking waitress. She was doing her best to take our orders in a timely manner, but we were engrossed in catching up and enjoying the reunion. I didn’t catch her name, but she was constantly moving—checking in with us, running to assist another table, or hurrying to serve other guests. It was clear she was busy, yet she was determined to provide great service. Throughout the hectic Saturday brunch, she maintained her sense of humor and managed our table perfectly. A+ for her effort! When our food arrived, we were all momentarily silenced by how delicious it was. The portions were generous—we even had leftovers! We all agreed that this visit deserved a 9/10 rating, largely thanks to the staff. And let me be clear, the food was fantastic as well. I’m already looking forward to going back, and my new favorite dish is the Huevos con Chorizo with flour tortillas! I've said it before and I’ll say it again: please don’t judge a restaurant harshly because of an overworked server. Times are tough, and many places are short-staffed. The employees who show up deserve our appreciation!"

"Cute little place that felt like a blast from the past. One of those sit anywhere there's an open table kinda places. As soon as we did, the waitress came immediately over. Hot coffee was given a minute later as well as our food order. Waitress was personable and answered all the questions about the menu. Yes, they do serve their entire menu all the time. Not long later, our food came. Portions were a good size. I really loved the Monkey Hill breakfast, and the biscuit was nice and buttered on the grilled. Loved the extra flavor that gave the flaky biscuits. Really glad I got the gravy on the side though since it was flavorless and didn't add anything to the biscuits at all. My friend wasn't impressed with her corned beef, but we both enjoyed our eggs. I loved the Belgian waffle and will definitely order that again. I could smell it when she was bringing it over, and it was so good while it was still hot. Bathrooms are unisex and clean. There's also a sign in there to let then know if it's missing anything. By the time we left (10 am on Sun), there was only one empty table and a couple of bar stools open. I would suggest getting here early on the weekends to avoid a wait! 1 star off because I was charged for something I ended up canceling and not getting. I originally ordered a side of grits, but the waitress convinced me we would have plenty of food. She was right since I ended up boxing half of the waffle and Monkey Hill. However, I still got charged for it. The parking lot is also really tight if you don't get there early enough to score a spot. Think there's only 10 spots that filled up really quick."

"Upon entering, a woman shouted from across the room for us to sit anywhere, which was quite unexpected. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was calm. We placed our orders and noticed that another table had received their meal, with steam rising from their eggs. I thought to myself, "So far, so good; at least the food is coming out hot." A server came over, introduced herself, and handed us the menus. I mentioned it was our first visit, and she welcomed us. However, she wasn’t the one serving us. Another server came by without introducing herself, and when I asked for coffee, she brought it over—only to find it was extremely watered down. My mom noted how weak it tasted. The server then remarked that "you can’t expect much; the coffee is terrible." I was taken aback! When our food arrived, it looked great, but it was cold. The bacon was overly salty, the grits were bland, and I had to drown the eggs in ketchup. To make matters worse, she didn’t serve us any water or even offer to bring us some. When my mom asked for a container to take her leftovers, the server replied, "Yeah, but what did you expect, you ate with your eyes," which my mom found offensive, especially since she had gastric bypass surgery and eats small portions. Things didn’t improve from there. I noticed the first server brought the check to the person sitting behind my mom, took his credit card, and processed his payment. Then, when my server brought my check, she told me I had to go to the front to pay. Absolutely not! The first server had taken care of my payment without me needing to leave the table. It was unbelievable! I will not be returning to this restaurant. I rated it a 2, but that was only for the ambiance—not for the service."
