"they have a vegan * pizza that they stack on the vegetables and their own vegan cheese for. but if they are a strictly vegan, they use regular sugar in their pizza sauce for their vegan pizzas and regular sugar in their vegan desserts. so it could be cold-filtered sugar. my man is not as strict as I am, so he doesn't care about it and loves her pizza. I gave them 3 stars as my man loves their pizza and they really stack them on the sweet. it is a shame that they do not eliminate the sugar to make it really vegan. Generally, I really hate places that are a bit vegan label that is not, but I don't understand any vegan care about the sugar source. but I hate the claim of vegan without ensuring that it is strictly vegan. updated by previous review on 2009-06-26"
