"We had a delicious meal and a fabulous experience from start to finish at The Slogar. We had the good fortune to spend a few minutes at the bar before our table was ready. We sat next to whom we later learned was the co-owner and had a fun conversation with her and the bartender. I was a little concerned when I saw the menu was family style but it allowed us to sample a number of starters and sides in addition to our entrees. The cottage cheese with the tomato compote was an amazing combination. I wish I could guy the compote. Their fried chicken was out of this world. Great service, great food. This restaurant is a gem!"
