"I struggle with this recommendation because I do understand that a kitchen gets busy. I'm in the service industry so I get it. However, we walked in to a not busy restaurant. Unfortunately there were no low tables so we had to sit at a bar height table with kiddos. We made it work. Waitress was friendly didn't really know her menu but it is what it is, got our drinks, took our orders, and then we waited... and waited... and waited... after minutes we still hadn't gotten our appetizer. When we asked she just said a huge to go order came in. Roughly an hour and half after arriving we finally get our food. Mine was missing the queso but for the most part everything tasted great. There had to have been a better way to handle having a large to go order that did not come at the expense of everyone dining in AND if this was such a big issue, then the restaurant staff needed to be more proactive about addressing the guests. I saw several guests get up and walk out. We nearly did ourselves! Eventually we got a discount on our ticket, but only after sending the ticket back for price discrepancies. I don't know, I try not to be too judgemental towards slow service, but this was just a little too much"
