"I visited The Pitstop for dinner one evening, and I'm so glad I chose this restaurant. The food was outstanding. I enjoyed the New England Clam Chowder and shared the Ribs and Chicken with my father. The ribs were cooked to perfection, with the meat effortlessly sliding off the bone. They were generously coated in BBQ sauce, which added to their delicious flavor. The chicken was also cooked just right—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I tried a bite of my wife's Cuban Sandwich and absolutely loved it. I will definitely be returning to this place and highly recommend it to everyone! Enjoy!"

"I attended my sister's company barbecue party today in Laurelton, NY. The food was provided by The Pitstop, which my sister mentioned is their go-to for catering. I tried the pasta salad, potato salad, a piece of fried chicken, grilled vegetables, and a turkey burger. Everything was delicious, but the standout for me was the turkey burger. It looked like a classic turkey burger on a simple bun, but I have to say it was THE BEST turkey burger I have ever tasted! Usually, turkey burgers can be plain and dry, but this one was grilled to perfection and incredibly moist. I didn't even need ketchup or any condiments with it. I wish I could have had another! Thank you, Pitstop, for my first experience with your food, and a special shoutout for those amazing turkey burgers!"

"Such a horrendous place. The ambience is okay with large table and spacious seats but their service makes it zero worth to go there. We went in for a quick bite during the weekdays around 4pm. The waiter girl didn’t even acknowledge us for over 15min after we sat the table. She was chatting with coworkers even after we turned to look their way to get attention a few times. The service was so slow and horrible poorly trained (or most likely Zero trained) we have been there in other occasions as well but the service was so mediocre and below average. The pizza is good. The wings was so overpriced for $12 for 6 pieces. Such a rip off. Never go back there again."

"The other day I got, Novelty Burger Bar, for dinner. I ordered their, All The Way Burger (Medium Rare) w/ Fries, Secret Sauce, and drinks. The burger?s flavor was phenomenal. The chili was an excellent addition to the burger, but really could not tastethe flavor of the chili, when tasted alone. The ATW Burger also came with onions and lettuce. The additions of raw onion andlettuce brought out satisfying textures to the burger, and also served as an excellent compliment. Their secret sauce isphenomenal as well. Not a huge fan of fries, but absolutely ate all of them, with their sauce! Totally wish I could remember thename of the blue drink, but it was really good as well. All in all, from customer service, to food quality, the ambience, andhow the total experience adds up. Would highly recommend, Novelty Burger Bar, to anyone in the Newark Area looking for somequality food!"

"Atmosphere is really nice Cleanliness is great Staff were very welcoming and friendly Sanitation score 100 Food D . BBQ plate was $13 for a tiny 9 Styrofoam plate of bland and pitiful food. Okra was meah. BBQ tasted two days old saturated in bbq sauce to keep it from being dried out. And the slice of white sandwich bread really topped it off. I mean not toasted, not texas toast, seriously just ONE slice of white sandwich bread (insulting for a $13 meal). I was super excited to try the place out, Unfortunately It felt like they walked next door to food lion and tried to throw together a miniscule dinner and charge an insane amount of money for what you got. Also I love the tip question at check out 15% 20% 25% tip when you place your order at the counter. Gather your own condiments and sauces and have to walk to the front for refills of your beverage or for anything at that matter. Was disappointed to have left a large tip for them to stand at a register and just take my order. Over all I wouldn't not reccomend. I hope it was a one off night and that their food quality is much better then what myself and family experienced. I'm only describing my plate of food. Not theirs and they paid more for less. Super saddened by our visit."
