"There’s a signed ace of clubs with “Raechel” written on it in red Sharpie on the ceiling, and I’m the one behind it. I visited from Dallas on March 19, 2016, for my very first Tinder date with Raechel. After she found out I performed magic, everything took off from there. "Dinner out while the kitchen reno was underway. The Crab au Gratin was excellent! Very cheese and quite tasty. Shrimp Alfredo was good but too many noodles for the shrimp ratio. Best part of the meal was the crusty yet doughy french bread. Service was okay, could have been a little better as it was a Monday evening and it was not that busy. Would recommend Vera's for anyone looking for good seafood."

"I had an amazing culinary experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was one-of-a-kind, set in an old house that has been beautifully converted into a dining space. The staff was incredibly attentive, and the fresh rolls served with roasted garlic at each table were simply divine. I ordered the black catfish served with red beans and rice, and the flavors were spot on. I also sampled the alligator sausage and Cajun mussels, both of which were packed with flavor. I can't wait to return and try more dishes from the menu!"

"This place was a huge let down. The bar itself is awesome lots of huge TVs and arcade games but the arcade games are all closed right now due to covid. They also didn 't have fried pickles available on the menu which I heard are the best thing on the menu here but the worst thing was the customer service.. I came to enjoy the Super Bowl and I asked if they could turn up the volume during the halftime show and a female staff member told me it 's football you don 't need to hear it lol obviously it 's not football right now it 's the halftime show. Probably won 't be back as the environment become very unfriendly and stiff after that."

"Omg! Food is amazing! Everything we order! I thought this would be a tourist trap. Noooooo. We made reservations for brunch else where and they ran out of alot of things. So we decided to walk around and decided that we give this spot a go. Knowing it for tourists. We didn't have any high expectations. Boy was I wrong. From apps which was the alligator sausage to the Chicken platter. Omg those wings was massive. Oh so yummy and the fries was so good. Like fancy fries with beer batted. We had a side of the best homemade onion rings I ever eaten in my life. Beside food. We order their famous ice cream daquaris. To many to choose from..we picked grasshopper and A peach mix with blue caraco. Was strong but good! I give them 10/10 for everything. We had a table next to the band playing and even though it was pack with every take filled up. Our service was top notch. Being a local we will go here more often for food from now on to try others things on the menu. Btw... All the food came out steaming hot and crispy. We enjoy the view and the good weather being outdoor."

"Rare Form is a hidden gem on Frenchmen Street! There's never a cover charge, and it's never as crowded as the other bars in the area. The live music is outstanding, especially with the Steve Mignano Band delivering incredible blues rock every Saturday night. He might just be the best guitarist in the French Quarter, which is saying something given the wealth of musical talent in New Orleans! The bartenders, Casey and Patrick, are fantastic—both super friendly and easygoing, which enhances the overall atmosphere. You really feel like you're among friends here, with none of the attitude you might encounter at some Bourbon Street bars. The drink prices are quite reasonable, especially for such strong cocktails! The food menu often changes, but I’ve dined here multiple times, and it has always been very good with minimal wait times. On weekends, they host jazz brunches featuring bottomless mimosas! I genuinely can’t say enough positive things about this bar. It’s definitely my favorite on Frenchmen!"

"Traveling across the United States a couple of years ago we stopped at Dan B's. The help was absolutely amazing. I asked about the pizza. What a treat it was. We had the Alligator. I ended up getting two tee shirts and we went back the next day the owner was there what a very nice man he stood there and talked to us as if we were lifelong friends. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling that way you will not be disappointed. Thank you for your great service and such great people."
